'Man Down' was the fifth single to be released from Rihanna's 2010 album Loud. Man Down is incredible imo but like quite a few singles from Loud/TTT/Unapologetic wasn't given a proper push and therefore had low peaks worldwide (although tbh I doubt it would've done very well anyway, as much as I love it  ). 'Man Down' is her best track. Love the lyrics, the video and the execution. Love the reggae vibe with the electro-undertone.
Low-peaks worldwide is not exactly true as it was a huge hit in some European countries with good taste  , including my country (Netherlands) where it peaked at #3. It was even a #1 hit in France!

Man Down is in my top 3 Rihanna songs ever! Absolutely adore the track and it always finds itself on my summer playlist every year.

YES BEST RIRI SONG EVER
it just has so much drama, style and confidence but that really dark, morbid edge that really makes it linger. most importantly I think it's a song no other popstar would or could pull off |
