It's been 10 years since Kylie's last credited appearance in the UK Top 10, featuring on 'Higher' by Taio Cruz. Originally a song written for 'Aphrodite', it was passed on for not fitting with the sound of the album, however was picked up by Taio who wanted Kylie to feature on the track. Their version was pushed in European countries whilst America received a version featuring rapper Travie McCoy (one version of the track combines both artists which was favoured by some radio stations in the UK). 'Higher' peaked at #8 in the UK, becoming Kylie's 34th Top 10 hit - the second highest tally for a female artist - and also reached the Top 10 in countries like Austria, France, Germany and New Zealand. 10 years on, what's your thoughts and memories of the song? |

Fun but throwaway, I don't go back to it often or even think about its existence.
Kinda pains me to think this is her last top 10 appearance. This post has been edited by Tawdry Hepburn: Feb 24 2021, 02:47 PM |

This strangely still has a lot of relevancy for me because it often got played on my nights out. It's definitely quite throwaway but it's a fun song and takes me back to following the charts in 2010/11 when pop music ruled.

Wasn’t this her last top ten UK hit? Those charity songs don’t count

I don't think I've ever listened to this song in the last 9 years, barely remember how it goes, so it was definitely not a highlight for me in any way.

Yes, her last T10 hit but don’t like the sound of her voice on it!

Loved it when it came out and was over the moon it went Top 10 and silver, not a song I listen to much now and it seems like it’s almost forgotten now.

This was a decent song. I think I quite liked this song back then.
