going for realistic ones rather than the likes of Adele & Ed Sheeran (will likely never happen as Adele strictly doesn't do features)

Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne (would probably go top five first week if that happened again) [also; Clean Bandit & Dua Lipa / Clean Bandit & Rita Ora]
Stormzy & J Hus (the two biggest British rappers of 2017)
Drake & Post Malone (instant number one)
Avicii & Zara Larsson (she'd work very well on an Avicii track I think, and it would also spend at least 10 weeks at #1 in my personal chart)
struggling to think of big names Calvin hasn't worked with yet who would work with him, maybe The Weeknd or Kendrick Lamar but both seem rather unlikely (as does Drake).

Ariana featuring anyone would explode rigt now though laugh.gif

Calvin feat. The Weeknd is something I can see happening with Calvin’s new sound, and The Weeknd hasn’t shyed from a dance song before

Clean Bandit feat. Dua is also very likely, perhaps with Stefflon Don thrown into the mix for a Rockabye/Instruction hit

How come Adele is strictly “no features”? I understand her music wouldn’t suit a guest Stormzy verse but a duet or even added production from a big name would be amazing

I don't see why they'd be unlikely given the other people Calvin has worked with recently. Calvin/The Weeknd in particular seems like a super obvious next stop for him if he continues the funk wav sound. Bruno Mars as well.

Drake/Ed Sheeran is one I find harder to imagine tongue.gif again though Ed has worked with similar artists so it could happen some day ~

One big Drake collab that could easily happen soon is Drake/Stormzy, after his recent work with Giggs and Skepta / generally seeming pretty big into the UK rap/grime scene.

Ed featured on both Eminem and N.E.R.D’s most recent albums, so realistically a Drake collab wouldn’t be hard to imagine laugh.gif

Tbh unpopular opinion but I find collaborations to be overrated these days as they occur far too often.

Sorry, I was being deliberately silly in that post tongue.gif

Perhaps interesting too to think what collabs would have been popular in the past? Going back to my golden age of c.1999-2000:

Sash! feat. Britney Spears
Britney feat. Christina
Boyzone feat. B*Witched
Steps feat. S Club 7
Artful Dodger feat. Eminem
Ricky Martin feat. Robbie Williams
Eminem feat. Craig David
Bob the Builder feat. Richard Blackwood
