This just kinda fell into my lap, released yesterday! It's out now on download and streaming, CD and vinyl will follow on 19 July. I really like most things he's been involved with, this is his third solo album (fourth if you include Suspiria, the soundtrack album I haven't listened to in full oops). Really intrigued by this! Anima comprises electronic music with "layers of electronic fuzz and deconstructed noise". Yorke said the themes include anxiety and dystopia: "For some reason I thought a really good way of expressing anxiety creatively was in a dystopian environment." 1. Traffic 2. Last I Heard (...He Was Circling the Drain) 3. Twist 4. Dawn Chorus 5. I Am a Very Rude Person 6. Not the News 7. The Axe 8. Impossible Knots 9. Runwayaway |

I really like this, although I've only had two listens so far. It made me want to go down a bit of a Thom Yorke / Radiohead journey, so I've listened to The Eraser today after a good while (I adore that album), as well as having what I believe was my first ever listen of Tomorrow's Modern Boxes (not sure why I never tried that b4).
Also on the listening list: Radiohead's The King of Limbs, cos I've only listened to that a handful of times and remember nothing 😅 |

I even have Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes on a super deluxe package thing but I don’t think I ever listened to it! |
