Eek that Doctor Who flop for the best episode in años!! Well maybe the angels village one was almost as good, too.

It consolidated to 4.3m which I think is the lowest rating since the revival. Admittedly, not great but it was likely affected by airing so close after Flux. Casual viewers may have expected it was carrying on the Flux storyline and not bothered with it.
Shouldn’t read too much into anyway as there’s only two more episodes of the era left before another big relaunch that will have a big marketing push. It was also still within the Top 30 programmes of the week (whereas episodes of Series 12 fell out) which highlights the decrease in ratings across the board. |

BARB 2021/2022 data reissue statement
"BARB’s panel management contractor, Kantar, has discovered an issue dating from December 12th 2021 in how the programmes viewed on TV sets in BARB panel homes are identified. Kantar has fixed the problem and put a procedure in place to ensure it does not recur in the future. No viewing data have been lost. We estimate the impact of this error is that our published TV set viewing data for linear channels (programmes and commercials) have been understated by approximately 2-3% for the period of December 12th 2021 – January 11th 2022. As a result, Kantar will reissue all BARB viewing data for this period in order to correct them. This will include the reissue of 7-day consolidated TV-set viewing data for December 5th 2021 – January 11th 2022. It will also include the reissue of 28-day consolidated TV-set viewing data for November 14th 2021 – January 11th 2022. We will update this statement with a timetable for the reissue as soon as this is available." |

A new series of #SaturdayNightTakeaway fronted by Ant & Dec launches with 6m viewers, a 37%, viewing share last night, down on last year’s lockdown boosted audience (over 7m) but identical share. With Celeb #Catchphrase, 4.1m, & #Starstruck, 3.3m, ITV has top 3 shows of the day.

A TV audience peak of 3.4m for the Men's Curling Final yesterday on BBC1 at 9.45am. Not sure we will have matched that at 3am last night for the Women's Final, but just goes to show the power of curling! #Beijing2022 #LoveCurling |

The BBC News at Six had an average of 5.7m viewers last night. Proof that news bulletins are vital at the moment. |
