The album is sure to be nothing short of incredible, Carnival Ride and Some Hearts are in my top 5 albums ever and Play On would be just outside top 10

Love Underwood! I'm pleased she took a break after Play On, I thought she seemed to just waltz into every album campaign approximately 30 seconds after declaring the last one finished. She has some strong albums under her belt too, some of my favourites!

I am rather a fan of Carrie, I picked up the album with Cowboy Cassanova in Florida and LOVED it. I already had Carnival Ride before that (I think that's the one, The on I have has Before He Cheats on it)

I've literally only heard Cowboy Casanova and Temporary Home from the third album, and I liked both, but TH is infinitely better.
Saying that, I've heard less than 10 Carrie songs anyway, but I hope to get her albums when I have the money.

I'm really getting into Play On at the minute. Unapologize is especially great. I have all her albums but I've never really given them a proper go beyond the singles. I'm going to work backwards.

Which tracks did they add? The version I ordered from Play.com was just the 13 tracks...
And HMV, Play.com and Amazon all say that the album's out 18th June.

Certain editions had it, mine had Before He Cheats, Jesus Take The Wheel and Last Name (also something else iirc I'll go and check my CD), but I have seen it on sites with just the 13.
That would make sense, it's June 1st in the US and she would likely release there first.

Poised for a #1 debut on the Billboard 200, selling between 275k-295k, hopefully she goes slightly over and clears 300k - Carrie slaying as usual <3 Around about the same sales as Play On, only a bit less (Play On sold 318k) and Good Girl wasn't as big as Cowboy Cassanova!
SO happy for her She is huge in America, but I was worried that she'd fall victim to the recent crap sales and open with less than half Play On's opening sales!

She performed Blown Away on Idol last night (tonight in the UK), it was incredible as always Great to see her not perform Good Girl, though I love it. It's sent Blown Away top 20 on US iTunes as well!

Outstanding album The first half of the album it utter perfection IMO. Only tracks i'm not keen on are 'Thank God For Hometowns' and 'Leave Love Alone' - most blatant fillers.
My favourite album of 2012 so far, which isn't too hard to beat considering the releases we've had so far

Lolwut? That's just... weird THe best song of all time deserves more recognition but to release it nearly 7 years after it came out on Some Hearts (6 years after the US single release) would just be RIDICULOUS. Then again Will Young got a minor Hot 100 hit out of Leave Right Now last year in the US (although it was used as the farewell song on Idol)
It is on the UK edition of Blown Away (along with some of Carrie's biggest hits) as bonus tracks though, if they're playing it on Chart Show TV you never know, perhaps a years and years too late release Good Girl is the current single in both UK and the US (Blown Away next, video comes out soon and the preview looks amazing), it bombed in the UK but then they didn't bother really pushing it, she is promoting the album over here though.

It's already had more plays than Some Hearts and Play On for me.
And yeah, I know! The main aspect of an album is the songs, but it never feels complete without a physical CD.

I watched her interview and her first ever UK performance (
) on Breakfast BBC this morning!
She comes across really well, and seems to be well-grounded and wasn't arrogant in any way despite all of her success! Also, I was surprised by how powerful her voice is live and I really love it!
Glad to see 'Blown Away' top 20 on iTunes albums!

I was so awkward I didn't know what to say to her. So instead I shouted 'I'M SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW' at her. I don't think she knew how to deal with me.

She's beautiful! I never thought much of her and thought she was pretty average. (Nice looking but average, girl next door sort of attractive) but she seems pretty stunning!

It was a brilliant night. She is flawless vocally. I was standing throughout the set but she deserved the standing ovation at the end of How Great Thou Art. She also covered Coldplay's 'Fix You' and in my head her and Kelly were duetting.

I can't recall it. I Know You Won't was during the encore. There was an intro, then she sang that and led into Blown Away and thanked everyone before she left. She did mention a fan before a song but I believe it was for Quitter.

When I went into Asda today, I saw on the new releases shelf at the entrance of the shop contained many Cheryl and Carrie albums! I couldn't resist so I have now bought Blown Away. I am SO glad I did, it's an amazing album! It's so great, my early favourites are Good Girl, Blown Away, See You Again, Forever Changed and Who Are You. I love it though!
I'm going to check out her older albums too, I have a feeling I'm going to love them too!
Also, in case anyone is unaware, Who Are You is a free download on Amazon at the moment!

I really hope a Carrie single will finally be pushed in the UK after the success of the album here! It has the potential to do really well I think, radio would eat this up!

Radio 2 playlisted it, and so the playedit a bit! I think that airplay was a big factor in the album doing well. Blown Away has also already made the top 200 off of downloads on album release week, which shows there's interest. I really think if other radio stations and TV stations latch onto it as I pray they will, this could be a big crossover hit! It's her most pop single yet and is incredible, looning aside it'd be great to see it do so well!

It's great that it managed to chart top 200 purely on a bit of radio 2 airplay and a BBC Breakfast performance! Like you say, there is definitely interest in her if only she could be brought to the attention of a wider audience!
I don't know what the UK "release" date for the song is, but does Simon Cowell still have anything to do with her? Maybe she could appear on the X Factor, but I'm sure that's just a dream!
We just need Radio 1 to playlist it, which I guess there is a chance! Then if Capital take a lead from the BBC, plus TV channels choose to play the video - I can see it doing very well! If only that would all happen!
Like you say, this song is definitely the song that they need to push here as it is the track with the most crossover she's ever had and this is the chance to get Carrie into the chart here! I think the UK is classed as the 2nd or 3rd most important music market, so I'm sure her label will give it a go seeing as they did make an effort for the album release with a bit of UK promo!
