As of this week, “Dance Monkey” by Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I, has become the milestone 20th song to have spent at least 100 weeks on the UK Singles Chart Top 100. 11) Oasis - Whatever (112 weeks)
12) The Pogues ft. Kirsty MacColl - Fairytale Of New York (111 weeks)
13) The Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling (109 weeks)
14) Imagine Dragons - Radioactive (107 weeks)
15) Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You (107 weeks)

17) Bastille - Pompeii (103 weeks)
18) Kings Of Leon - Use Somebody (103 weeks)

Very impressive as it has amassed 100 weeks in only 2 chart runs with only 2 weeks off the chart before re-entering.

How many chart runs have each of the top 20 had?

I missed that 'Perfect' had also surpassed 'Chasing Cars'. Good. x (And it really doesn't feel like it was that long ago that 'Mr. Brightside' took the lead but it's now more than 100 weeks ahead of it, time flies)

Has anything managed 100 consecutive weeks? Blinding Lights will do that before being knocked out in the Christmas rush.

Someone You Loved did exactly 100 (on weeks 2-101 of its run)

Blinding Lights will almost certainly become the first to reach 100 weeks while on its first chart run by the end of October - unless The Weeknd drops a surprise album which gets it starred out before then.

It could well be the 21st to cross the line, although Shape Of You is on 98 weeks and looks to have narrowly missed the Top 100 this week and last.

How many weeks did Chasing Cars potentially lose though from being inelligible when the chart rules allowed labels to 'strike out' their releases, before the rules changed again at new year and allowed all the struck out songs back in? Would it be enough weeks that it could potentially have still been on top otherwise?

Chasing Cars was ineligible for 7 weeks, so even with these included it would still be some distance behind Perfect (and Mr Brightside) by now.
However it would have then stayed 112 consecutive weeks in the Top 100, which would still be the record as things stand.

Someone You Loved is currently on its second chart run.

Third, it had a single week at #100 a little while ahead of the start of its 'main' run.

I got so fed up with Dance Monkey, but now its only played now and again it has regained some of its appeal.

The music video remains unwatchable though.

I believe by the Autumn Tones will have overtaken Mariah to have the biggest female solo single ever. Then Mariah will re-overtake obviously.
