I don't like Alcazar (Headlines aside) but I like Magnus's track for some reason, even if it is painfully dated, it's nothing special but I enjoyed it on Saturday and thought it tipped on the right side of the camp line.

Magnus' song is FINE, but I'd happily never hear it again. It's not even that camp, it just doesn't have that immense sense of JOY I expect from MF Schlager, it just sounds a bit limp.

I've caught up now, Mariette's song is slightly incredible. The rest of the qualifiers are good with scope to grow. Hello Hi and Don't Stop Believing are the only two essential songs out of the eight that have gone further so far for me.
Also, the Empire State of Mind parody was complete genius! Sanna is hopefully shaking off her 'nice but dull' tag by presenting MF in such a way. |

Caught up with this last night... the right 4 progressed so i'm happy about that
Mariette was outstanding. I'd maybe have preferred Linus to go DTF over Magnus but i'm sure Magnus' song will grow on me more over time. |

Mariette needs to win really, of the current finalists at least. Eric, Jessica and Magnus have all produced far better material in the past.

I can see Mariette being my winner, I'm only excited for Kristin Amparo and of course Mans now - unless the heat throws up a Mariette style surprise.
Also Isa maybe, the same Isa who did Bomb which a runner-up in BJSC afaik |

I can see ISA being this year's Ace Wilder tbh (if the song is as much of a banger as it ought to be)

If it's anywhere near as good as Bomb she should be this year's Ace! We are due a shock, the first two heats were very predictable (I guess Jess going DTF and One By One missing out was a slight surprise but it was still the obvious top 5 and I did think aside from Eric 100% going DTF any of the other four could have had any of the 3 possible fates).

I'm going to watch the show tonight and despite not having heard anything but the clips, I'm SO glad Mariette was DTF and those who went away went away.
Mariette now favourite to win the whole thing *.* Links? (Where's PAVEL WHEN YOU NEED HIM) swimming pools (drank) |

Saade down to fourth with some bookies! I quite like Sting but it's such a MAJOR step back from Popular. Still, I guess matching those lofty heights was never going to be easy.

Does anyone have any links in which I could use to potentially stream the next heat, please? Gonna try and watch it live myself this week!

Mariette is my favorite so far, but I hope my overall favorite is still to come.
