so Lana started to NFR tour in the US, and surprise surprise the setlist so far includes very few songs from the new album :/
basically she only had 1 debut, Bartender... and it's too similar to the last tour what do you guys think? https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/lana-del-rey...ny-b9ccd8a.html Norman f***ing Rockwell Bartender Chelsea Hotel #2 (Leonard Cohen cover) (with Adam Cohen) Born to Die Blue Jeans Cherry White Mustang Pretty When You Cry Change / Black Beauty / Young and Beautiful Ride Tomorrow Never Came (with Sean Lennon) Video Games Mariners Apartment Complex Summertime Sadness Doin' Time (Sublime cover) Off to the Races Shades of Cool Venice Bitch |

She's so lazy lmao. Screaming at her doing the same medley from the last album's tour!

What a disappointing setlist — almost the opposite of what Charli is doing on her tour.
What do we think is the optimal ratio of a tour? How much of the setlist should be the most recent album vs previous hits? |

I’d say just over half should be from the album being toured, so it feels like an event for that album. But still a good amount of hits to please casual fans. Also like a random throwback album track or two that’s unexpected or hasn’t been performed in ages

That's an awful setlist!!!
I really do feel that an album tour should have the majority of the tracks from that album with only a splattering of staples thrown in to bring a bit of variety. I would say: Norman f***ing Rockwell - KEEP Bartender - KEEP (but definitely not play second!) Chelsea Hotel #2 (Leonard Cohen cover) (with Adam Cohen) - KEEP as I quite like this track and it's an interesting inclusion - but again, later in the set) Born to Die - KEEP Blue Jeans - DITCH Cherry - DITCH White Mustang - DITCH Pretty When You Cry - DITCH Change / Black Beauty / Young and Beautiful - DITCH Ride - KEEP Tomorrow Never Came (with Sean Lennon) - DITCH Video Games - KEEP Mariners Apartment Complex - KEEP Summertime Sadness - KEEP Doin' Time (Sublime cover) - KEEP Off to the Races - DITCH Shades of Cool - DITCH Venice Bitch - KEEP Which frees up 8 spots for: Cinnamon Girl The Greatest California Happiness is a Butterfly Hope is a dangerous thing... The Next Best American Record F*ck It I Love You Love Song Plus add: Love Gods & Monsters West Coast 13 Beaches |

I'm positive she will add more new songs but it's a lazy attitude to recycle your old tour...
I never understand when artists are reluctant to play new stuff, should be the opposite, they should be eager to play new music if they're proud of it... The extreme is really Ben Howard, in the last tour he only played new songs, and if somebody asked for old hits he was getting upset and sometimes even leaving the stage and finishing the gig |

The Next Best American Record F*ck It I Love You Love Song Plus add: Love Gods & Monsters West Coast 13 Beaches It's so insane to me that she has been essentially playing the setlist for years now. I would go with something like: Norman f***ing Rockwell Mariners Apartment Complex Love Born to Die F*ck It I Love You Cinnamon Girl Cherry The Next Best American Record Ride Video Games Love Song Happiness is a Butterfly The Greatest Doin' Time Summertime Sadness West Coast Hope is a dangerous thing... 2nd date was not much better, same setlist as the first day
bizarrely, instead of adding new songs she added a cover of a Joni Mitchell track a bit better for the 3rd date. She did again the Joni Mitchell cover and even added another cover, Simon & Garfunkel this time but at least she did the debut of Cinnamon and also Happiness is a Butterfly (with audience) This post has been edited by Bjork: 3rd October 2019, 08:55 AM |

I wish she wasn't so lazy, a hastily thrown together piano CG doesn't really do the epic expansiveness of the song justice. She should have a full band for all the songs.

She needs to keep Off to the Races and Cherry but I would happily see her drop Video Games and Bartender in exchange.
