And not because of the album, the album is great, but because of her lack of interest in promoting it. If she had properly promoted it, it would already be close to 3x P.

Sure, why isn't Justin Bieber's album with hit after hit and deluxe after deluxe even double platinum, let alone Ariana Grande's latest?
It might have sold additional 100k or so more with some live performances, but let's not exaggerate. |

Well, Bieber promoted Changes for only 3 months and 5 months after releasing the last single from this album he already came up with the lead single for his next album (which Gaga should have done after leaving Chromatica in the delivery room). The time between Changes' first single and Justice's last single was just 1 year and two months, that's basically the minimum amount of time a pop era should be promoted so Changes and Justice combined have sold ~2.8M in the US so far. Ariana's Positions with only two and a half singles has sold 1.6M in the US so far and would already be at 2M if she had released the video for 'pov' given its great reception on pop radio (#3), the main radio format in the US.

 Totally forgotten about Changes, I was thinking of Justice alone, but yea, as a 2020 release, the former is probably better comparison to Chromatica. |

He's still the best manager currently in the game, he's not perfect but he's the best, I so wanted Gaga to be managed by him instead of that feckless called Bobby Campbell. Rain On Me was the closest we've come to a decent pop era in the Chromatica era.

Chromatica sold what Changes, Positions and Justice combined sold in US pure sales, another proof that the public was there for the album, but if you don't adapt the way you promote your stuff to the streaming era, you won't reach nothing but your loyal audience that still buys physical copies.
