They've updated their socials with new schemes etc..
I'm hyped for a proper comeback, but I really, really hope it's good. They've dropped the ball for me recently and I'm nervous! Here's hoping though!! Also... How about a 2nd Feb release? 2/1/21

Very exciting! Trench is definitely my favourite album of theirs now, and the two singles last year were both really good.

Their upcoming sixth album is called Scaled and Icy, which will be out on May 21. As a consequence, the release of the lead single ("Shy Away") is imminent.

There's fan theories going around that this isn't the real album, but a red herring for some sort of storyline!
Mainly because of the line at the bottom: "The views and opinions expressed on this program are those of The Sacred Municipality of Dema" which is an "organisation" featured in their branding/videos since the lead up to Jumpsuit/Nico and the Niners |

Very excited for this... but not sure if all is as it seems.
They had a song - We Don't Believe What's on TV - on Blurryface. The promo here for the new album shows Tyler and Josh "on TV", so the suggestion is not to believe it. If it is all true then bring it on. It all looks very 80s style, which follows on from the vibe of Level of Concern, but would be quite a change in musical direction from Trench. They mentioned this on Radio 1 on my way home but I had missed first play. Home and watched the video immediately. Instant. Love it. The sound. The look. The video. Totally honest... I'm not keen on the album title... but I am so ready for some twenty|one|pilots!!! |

Yep. Much, MUCH better than 'Level of Concern' and much more inline with what I want from a new era from them.
Very catchy and instant. Excellent

Looking forward to another new song but Shy Away has only been on R1 playlist for 2 weeks so suspect this will be a bit of a "promo track" with another new song before album release.

This is really good. Not as instant as Shy Away, but that's because it's not as commercial. Has definite vibes of their album Vessel; loving the Tyler-Rap towards the end. I love the simplicity of their videos. Shaping up to be a top-notch album. |

Yeah. I got big 'Vessel" vibes from this too, which is probably why I took to it so immediately. Obsessed with this.
