    Andrew's Review
Coming Soon...

Artwork Rating: 7/10 Very Good
Another bright and atmospheric design, not too dissimilar in theme to Now 30 released earlier in the year. Settled amongst the snow capped mountains on a sunny day. Clever use also of using varied surfaces for the logo which looks almost rough and could have been carved out of brickwork.

Disc 1 Favourite: Simply Red – Fairground
Probably my favourite song from Simply Red, it is so joyous and nostalgic too of all the fun I would have enjoyed at fairgrounds in the 90's as a child. I was always fascinated by fairgrounds as a youngster, all the bright lights, music and rides.

Disc 2 Favourite: Coolio feat. L.V. – Gangsta's Paradise
Iconic. Not much more to add really!

Overall Rating: 7/10 – Very Good
Splendid outcome for this volume. Some really fine dance songs throughout the compilation and a great indication of what the mid-90's gave us in the charts.

Andrew's Best 5 (as of March 2017)
1. Simply Red – Fairground
2. Coolio feat. L.V. – Gangsta's Paradise
3. The Original – I Luv U Baby
4. Berri – Sunshine After The Rain
5. Blur – Country House

Andrew's Worst 5 (as of March 2017)
1. Suggs – I'm Only Sleeping
2. Jimmy Nail – Big River
3. Pulp – Sorted For E's & Wizz
4. The Beautiful South – Pretenders To The Throne
5. Soul II Soul – I Care (Soul II Soul)

as always disc 1 is the better, close call but McCalmont Butler is so classic, and Coolio on cd 2 over inferior remixes for Donna Summer and Human League. CD2 is mostly covers and remixes! Even Coolio...

Probably the middlest of the three 1995 editions but that's not to say there aren't some fantastic songs to be found. Disc 2 destroys Disc 1 well & truly, the latter containing just a few I love such as Roll With It & Country House. Fairground is also a bit of a tune tbf! Interestingly you can also find the Sacred Spirit song which was sent to BJSC at the end of last year, it did far better in that than the Rate (as I'll post below).

But Disc 2 is where the gold dust is including my fave on the edition I Luv U Baby, one of my favourite 90s dance songs! Gangsta's Paradise is of course a classic & won the Rate last year at an absolute canter. Boombastic is a huge guilty pleasure whilst Missing & Higher State Of Consciousness both stood the test of time.

Another very good cover too, capturing the Winter theme spot on, another 8/10 for the artwork. For the overall rating I'll be generous & bump it up to a 7/10 after initially leaning towards a 6!

Here are the Now 32 results carried out by myself at the start of 2016:
