Well their social media is dead and didn't post about it, so bar a handful of crazy hardcore fans and the odd casual fan who might of seen it in HMV who else even knows it was released.

QUOTE(Spice Girls Net @ Oct 18 2019, 10:54 PM) *
I was keeping a look out today for the new vinyl chart hoping I would see ‘Spice’. How many copies are vinyls selling on average from 1-40?

Not sure what the average sales are, but I know that last week's #38 vinyl sold 160 copies, #39 sold 158. Maybe that'll indicate how Spice sold this week to not be top 40.

I'd say the top 40 would probably be higher sales this week than last given the 21 coloured vinyls HMV released and the opening of that massive HMV in Birmingham. I wouldn't be surprised if #40 was selling 200 copies this last week.

When will we get the Spice group and solo sales?
Too bad promises made seem forgotten.

It's not been forgotten but unfortunately they've not been able to get around to it yet. Hopefully soon!

Greatest Hits is back in the top 200 after a three week absence! Only just made it - it re-enters at #199. The HMV price cut of the vinyl will have helped this along!

779 sales this week (305 physicals / 16 downloads / 458 streaming)
New total: 619,983

It's a shame to see the streaming units fall into the 400s area. sad.gif I was hoping that it would consistently remain over 500. The situation with the downloads is frustrating too (the GH costs £11.99 on iTunes :/ )

800 sales is still good, as there is zero promotion or awareness with the exception of a sale price in one chain.
The album is on very respectable sales and each week is helping the album progress to 700,000 sales.

Thank you Jay for the updates. Feels like yesterday the GH went 2x Platinum and now it’s nearly at 620K. As for the iTunes sale price they should reduce it.

Imagine a digital album in 2019 costing £11.99, especially one that is 12 years old.

Exactly. Mel B’s ‘Hot’ is 20 next year and it’s available on iTunes for £10.89 😐

How can they justify it being to expensive on iTunes when it is so cheap elsewhere? Unless they have made a deal with Amazon or HMV and they have to do it..
So strange...

I think that is my theory. A deal with HMV so that it drives sales to the physical format.

Those charts show that putting up the GH to £11.99 on iTunes is mindboggling, downloads are the strongest format interms of individual chart formats🤦‍♂️

Greatest Hits doing quite nicely in the midweeks this week. cheer.gif #154 on Wednesday. Not to jinx it, but I think it should be safe to remain top 200 by Friday. It's now exceeded 620,000 total sales!
