These 3 songs are all approaching 40 weeks in the top 40 and with XF started they might stay longer - which will last longest though?

Clean Bandit Rather Be Entered Chart - 01/02/2014

Chart Run - {1}-1-1-1-3-3-3-5-7-8-8-9-12-16-16-18-22-21-23-23-25-28-32-24-28-27-29-29-26-26-30-34->32

Idina Menzel Let it go Entered Top 75 - 21/12/2013

Chart Run - 67-67-57-44-36-31-22-20-20-23-18-31-22-31-30-27-17-{11}-15-13-11-11-12-13-13-15-19-21-21-21-25-25-27-30-28-29-32-36->38

Pharrell Williams Happy Entered Top 75 - 07/12/2013

Chart Run - 71-30-4-2-{1}-2-1-1-2-3-2-3-2-1-2-3-4-6-6-7-7-10-12-13-15-12-11-14-17-18-17-19-16-18-22-24-25-27-29-30->40

Of those 3, Happy.

But All Of Me will stay longer than all of them.

You're forgetting All of Me. That's bound to be in the top 40 for an absolute age drama.gif

Let It Go is probably in for a big boost in Q4 as Frozen inevitably gets a spike in popularity because of its winter theme + people covering it on X Factor. Happy will stay in for a few more months because it's Happy. Rather Be will probably only last another month in the top 40 or 2 if its lucky.

Entered Chart - 15/02/2014 John Legend All Of Me 2

72-28-29-9-8-6-3-5-{2}-4-4-4-5-4-3-6-6-5-10-10-9-11-13-14-20-19-17-15-19-19->30

30 Weeks

Obv all these have been helped by streaming in the middle of the chart run but most long running hits have luck like that!

Only Rather Be has gained extra weeks in the top 40 because of streaming so far.

Let It Go will be out of the top 40 next week going by the current iTunes and Spotify placings unless it is used on X Factor on Saturday.

All Of Me hasn't actually benefited from streaming that much:

I agree.

Avicii Wake Me Up has had an amazing chart run too.

Happy will probably still be in the top 40 for another few months especially as X Factor and Strictly are back and will use the track somewhere

All Of Me will also be in the chart forever

Rather Be and Let It Go will be out in 2/3 weeks I reckon

There can't be many, if any, songs that stay Top 20 for 27 weeks.

I'd take FONY out as it continually reenters and I'm sure Sex on Fire did too!

I think last week was the last for the remaining 2 with the wave of new entries this week expected, but I wouldn't be overly surprised if Rather Be stayed in.

I think it'll be a toss up between Happy & All of Me. I reckon Happy will finally drop out by early November only to come back in through the gift card effect but then that's for the new year isn't it.

All of Me I don't think is going anywhere for another month or two either.

Fingers-crossed All Of Me stiffs like a stiff-thingy ASAP, I'm getting to the stage where I want to smash things up every time I have to sit through it on the Chart Show. Pleasantly forgettable became annoying dirge and is now at full-on frothing at the mouth Hate. I don't ever want to hear it ever again!

That's quite an achievement for me, so well done John Legend, an ironic name if ever I heard one...

sorry all you love-birds, you'll come to hate it too one day... laugh.gif

Is it? Might be on its last legs then it fell to 35 or so last week & it might not have the legs Happy seems to have!

I only ever hear it on the Chart Show, but even once a week has become too much now.
