I completely don't understand the reservations in this thread at all. I saw the show tonight and the setlist was fab. It feels like they've FINALLY arrived and everything felt big and thought through well. I particularly appreciate the mash-ups and slight tweaks to particular songs. It did feel a touch shorter than I would have expected, but it was a strong setlist with zero duds and the energy was huge throughout. This is one of their best tours, if not their best, and rightly so. They are such superstars.

Just home from the evening Birmingham date. Despite Hair and Your Love being cut, the show "felt" longer tonight. There was a lot more "fluff" and crowd interaction, with Jesy and Perrie being particularly good at keeping the crowd going. Your Love being cut meant that only SLS and parts of NEM & NMSS were on the air catwalk - it was better for it really - the people in the front blocks didn't get too bored this time in comparison to earlier in the tour.

Jade's throat infection really threw up some interesting tidbits - have they amended their backing tracks for the shows temporarily? Some songs where she "sang" sounded like prerecorded live vocals (DNA) whereas other vocals were a carbon copy of the studio vocals (Salute/Black Magic) I felt, rightly or wrongly, that it shows how much of their live show is actually backing track/prerecorded live vocals over actually "live" vocals, if that makes sense.

SLS did not go down well live tonight, Jade had to croak through it because the audience just weren't giving it her. I'd say it was the most poorly received song of the night actually. Freak got a better reception which is .... madness.

I had such a good time at the Birmingham show on Friday! It was a real shame that Jade barely sang a note as she's my favourite but she was still a trouper to come along and dance rather than calling it quits. The song that I was most anticipating was 'DNA' as it's my favourite of theirs and that of course did not disappoint, loved the visuals on top of the performance <3 my biggest surprise of the night was the song that it was mashed up with - 'Down & Dirty' - going OFF live! The studio version doesn't quite cut the mustard for me but the live experience made me appreciate it so much more. Yessss.

Did you guys get any merchandise? I was toying between the t-shirts, keyring and posters but in the end settled for a programme.

Saw the girls in the Liverpool echo last night and don't get me wrong they were very good and put on a hell of a show as always, but it was just so evident that they are in dire need of a break. They changed the arrangement of at least 3 songs to account for their weakened vocals, most notably in wings, they sounded like the original song to a tee, and missed out the new slowed intro and jades falsetto. I'm also pretty sure jade lip synced 60% of the show, I wasn't mad because I know her vocals are very strained and I know the girls usually sing live every opportunity they get. I hope after the tour has finished and the re release has died down they get a long well deserved rest.
