Gonna try out a new format commentary. Also it’s almost five years since I started my chart!
• New chart year, new #1: Sofi Tukker amounts an unassailable lead with “Best Friend”, knocking off “End Game”. There should be a battle between these two when the video gets released. Or will another song take #1? • Breathe rises to the top 10 at #6, consequently peaking “Instruction”. • PNAU’s “Go Bang” is the lone top 20 entry at #20, up three spots. • Rita Ora enters the top 30 at #28, but BTS leapfrog her at #27. They’re the greatest gainers this week, up 16. • “No Limit” manages to return to the top 40 at a new peak. “Whatever It Takes” also rises to #37 and Machine Gun Kelly’s “Home” jumps to #40. • Tove Styrke’s “Mistakes” is the lone debut at #47. • The chart clears itself from the Xmas madness, so “Christmas C’mon” is the biggest dropper, down 15 to #29. • “Strip That Down” stagnates at #31 in its 32nd week.
There may be more new changes to the format. Idk yet.
Droppers: OUT (50.) (13) Marshmello f/Khalid - Silence

I’m surprised not a lot of people expected Best Friend To Be #1, I’ve been fawning over it for a good few months now Well the goal for this chart was to have #1 that are unexpected and not be such a mainstream ho, so I guess it’s working for me
I’m in the process of importing charts I made during 2013-2014 onto another thread since I’m three months, it will be 5 years since I started making personal charts!

”Why” is most likely on its last legs. This chart and the previous one were in a weird freeze period where I play a lot of the older songs so they end up staying longer than usual and some of the newer ones get stuck in the process (which explains why TMYLM/Perfect getting stuck. BTS seems to have not been affected
