OK, I knocked *something* together, despite that lack of definite sales info,,,

V1 :

YTD Sales : Please read these guidelines before you request sales estimates, it makes my task a lot easier.

1. Be specific - please name the artist and title for each entry you'd like an estimate for.

2. I log sales for all albums that have charted this year, but only update those that have sold enough to reach my 200 position tracking range

3. If an album isn't in the current Top 100, I won't be able to update its sales until Tues. Also, please don't ask about ex-T100 albums too often - once a month at most)

4. Remember to check the thread before requesting estimates - they may already have been answered. Also, no more than half-a-dozen requests at a time, thanks.

5. Please note my figures are combined sales & streams, and since I have no way of separating them, I cannot provide a split.

6. While I am no longer estimating singles sales, I can provide YTD singles positions from C+, and I am still maintaining my sales archive based on published figures (PM me if you want to see it)

7. Total sales are post-1994 only, so sales of albums relased before then will be understated.

Thank you.

Although.. Chromatica had 132,200 last week, surely it did more than 800 units this week so maybe it's just not included yet?

The sales in the first update are rounded to the nearest 1k.

It's quite easy to work out sales estimates for just one week, the mids will have helped plus weekly trends.

Yea Gaga will be #22 in the end. So close, yet so far! It'll outsell Ball and Boe in the long run regardless.

What makes you think that? Ball and Boe's Christmas album will sell well every Christmas now I'm sure.

It would help if she released a follow up to ‘Rain On Me’

If Chromatica sells, let's say 800 units per week for next year, it does 41k next year alone. A few weeks in top 75 won't make up that gap for B&B. It's a seasonal product. Plus, they will release a new duet album next year or in 2022 at the latest.

Chromatica ain't doing 800 units a week next year and Ball and Boe and the label are likely to push the Christmas album next year too. I'd be shocked it if isn't top 20 in December next year.

Ball and Boeing were the 5th biggest selling album released this year, it is going to be milked for all its worth the next few Christmas. A deluxe version wouldn't surprise me or a Christmas tour next year if we are over Coronavirus.
