I hope it's a move closer towards the iamamiwhoami sound and vibe even though I LOVED the album she released as ionnalee last year. nothing can compare to the heights of yammywhammy~

The album is called 'Remember the Future' and released on May 31st.

"‘REMEMBER THE FUTURE’ is produced by ionnalee and also features contributions from her long time collaborator Claes Björklund (iamamiwhoami) and is mixed by Johannes Berglund (Fever Ray). The first lush disco single ‘OPEN SEA’ (Feb 8) comes with a video directed by ionnalee and cinematographer John Strandh (iamamiwhoami) and is in her own words in the ‘low fi sci fi’ genre."

I feel like a flop fan but I don't exactly ADORE it. The 3-minute breakdown is BEYOND WORDS STUNNING but the chorus and her pronunciation throw me off so much.

I was the same if not less excited at the beginning of her previous era so I have a lot of hope for the album still! In fact I'm SURE it's going to be stunning. Jonna always delivers!

Just missing iamamiwhoami too much I guess. Nothing can EVER compare to Blue.

Glad she was finally given a break! the new album coming out so soon after last year's and the sudden relatively big tour announcement. Without any kickstarter stuff or anything meaning they probably got some DOLLA coming in~
