Good evening and welcome to the most important BJSC to date. Queen Alison Dilaurentis will be your host as we are here to worship Lee Wallace. May I remind you that not only did 'Sigala' is not only the second most successful song in BJSC history it also helped Aquafina level the record of most maximum points received in a contest.
Enough about Lee, let's get the dates for this month's historic BJSC.
You have until Friday 31st July until 23:59. No entries will be accepted after this period of time unless you bribe me.
Important information
01: You MUST be a member of Buzzjack for a period of 3 months minimum before you are eligible to participate in this contest. If Y'all are new to the contest (Hi Joe) please register your country.
02: Please don't send any artist that finished Top 3 in BJSC 76 which means no Sigala, Kove or Sandra Lyng. I will crucify you if you attempt it and block you from sending me any private messages.
03: Please don't send any songs that have been sent previously. I will hit you with a Madonna CD if you do (They're all on sale in Poundland)
04: If you fail to vote in the Semi Final you will be deducted points. Failure to vote in the final will lead to deduction of points and a ban in the following contest.
05: I encourage cheapness.

So Lee my entry had been "unsuccessful"
That leads me to come up with three possible options:
1. It was vetoed (unlikely you have already gone through the veto process in a matter of hours, since I would usually get a veto days after sending it)
2. Someone else sent it before me 
(not surprising as the last two contests I have scraped collisions)
3. Lee be trollin (because let's be honest, it's LEE, and a couple of people mentioned earlier in the thread)

It's not only that though, it's that people often source their songs from the same places. Plus, there are certain types of song which are clearly going to smash here, so if someone (or several people) come across them, then they'll try sending them. It's pretty much exactly why the blogs chosen for the veto were chosen.

I've changed now, I think I've overplayed the other one a bit although it still slays and now the former one has crept up in my affections back past it really so I'm just going with my (albeit fickle!) heart, either way I'm sending my favourite new(ish) artist and I do think the older song is "safer" and more of a hit so let's be desperate too xo

Oh someone actually did send Prides! (Was it you Lindsey?? ) I absolutely adore 'Messiah' but it is pretty veto worthy. I sent them to Unknown Pleasures and came 4th a while ago which would be even more veto points that seem to have been left off.

I think the thing is with Melanie is that everyone on here is aware of her name whether it's via Plug or other forums or internet blogs, for example there's no-one saying "who is Melanie?" which is what we usually get with some of the vetos. Therefore lots of participants are very aware of her, and that's what has given her the 12 points. Maybe we could look into making the framework a little less ambiguous with that rule in the future if "significant following" is unclear, but I hope you can see what we were trying to get at.

That 'small country' Sweden is one of the most important countries in the music world and it's definitely one we know is on radars here. Still, it's easy to get a Swedish song in that isn't on hyped blogs. It's easy to get any song in that isn't on hyped blogs. Not that we ever veto something for appearing on one blog. It's appearing on multiple ones all over the net that gets it. And sometimes not even then if it isn't combined with other factors.
I've seen far too much of Melanie lately for my liking.

Look like Melanie was voted out by a majority of the mod team, at least four different people tried to enter her as far as I can tell (three confirmations for 'Soap', two for 'Pity Party) and that rings alarm bells.
