The 22 acts have been announced and among them are two who represented Italy in the previous decade
Anastasio Giordana Angi Bugo feat. Morgan Diodato Elodie Francesco Gabbani Irene Grandi Raphael Gualazzi Paolo Jannacci Junior Cally Elettra Lamborghini Achille Lauro Levante Le Vibrazioni Marco Masini Enrico Nigiotti Piero Pelů Pinguini Tattici Nucleari Rancore Riccardo “Riki” Marcuzzo Alberto Urso Michele Zarrillo Elettra Lamborghini is another name for viewers of Geordie Shore And the granddaughter of the founder of Lamborghini Elodie's song is apparently co-written by Mahmood so could be one to listen out for. I'm more excited going into Sanremo this year as I made a couple of good discoveries from it last year! |

Omg Elettra Lamborghini's album is bop city! She's much better than she seems on paper. Elodie is very promising too so I'm looking forward to hearing that, especially knowing Mahmood wrote it.

Seems like Anastasio is the early press favourite, not been fond of anything of him so far but maybe this will be different!

Elodie is HERE with a Dua Lipa esque bop, written by Mahmood. One to watch for sure!

If this can win Sanremo, we have our Eurovision winner. |

It really is about time Italy won to be fair, they definitely feel next in line of people due a win.

Elettra was quite disappointing, a cute bop but I don't think I'm going to stan it or go back to it a huge amount post Sanremo. It's still all about Andromeda for me (which has taken a lead in the bookies' odds *.*) although Francesco's song is quite good too.

F*** me, 'Andromeda' is a TUNE and a HALF. Biggest song I've heard for Eurovision since 'Euphoria'. They simply HAVE to choose Elodie.

If there’s to be an upset, I am also really loving the Tactical Nuclear Penguins, so catchy and fun (and they did well in the 25% of the final vote decided by the Orchestra (???), unlike Elodie so maybe we should lower our expectations whilst also keeping in mind that Mahmood wasn’t an instantly clear winner)

Oh I never get my hopes up with Sanremo because it's always so random

Andromeda was SEVENTH :/ Any other country would kill for a song like that, they chucked away a potential winner.
Viceversa, Ringo Starr and Fai Rumore are the top 3, I think the latter might have it but I'm hoping that Francesco clinches it! |

COME ON NUCLEAR PENGUINS. There is still a chance for Italy to be topping my rankings thus far
I'd accept Francesco again but it's not as good as "Occidentali's Karma" so what's the point. |

Yeah that's the thing, OK already was so good and fell totally short of the hype, I can't see Viceversa doing too much.
I think the winner leaked judging by twitter (idk how but it must be aired on delay) Diodato won, I'm just hoping he's one of the ones who won't go to Eurovision as its a very dull song |

I've read that he's said he would go, now I'm just hoping the News show put out the alert by mistake..has the public vote for the top 3 even closed?
