300-291
2.90 291 Westlife Feat Diana Ross - When You Tell Me That You Love Me 2.73 292 Ronan Keating - She Believes (In Me) 2.66 293 Westlife - What Makes A Man 2.57 294 One True Voice - Sacred Trust / After You're Gone 2.54 295 Duncan James & Keedie - I Believe My Heart 2.48 296 Shane Richie - I'm Your Man 2.12 297 Lee Mead Any Dream Will Do 1.95 298 Jedward feat. Vanilla Ice Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) 1.84 299 4-4-2 - Come On England 1.17 300 Cliff Richard 21st Century Christmas / Move It! No big surprises in any of the bottom ten then, which all score averages of less than 3. Not one but two Westlife songs appear, which doesn't surprise me because with one or two exceptions their songs were diabolical and boring. Other boyband fodder appears here too including One True Voice who infamously lost the Christmas chart battle with Girls Aloud, whose song was approximately ∞x better than OTV's. Ex-boyband members Ronan Keating and Duncan James also are here with boring forgettable songs which make me question what certain people were smoking back in the day. Shane Richie decided it would be a good idea to cover the Wham classic 'I'm Your Man' for Comic Relief. Spoiler: it wasn't. Lee Mead won a reality show to decide who would best be the next Joseph in the production of the Lloyd Webber musical. If this was what he could come up with as a single I dread to think how the rest of the contestants sounded. Very weak version of what is otherwise an okay song (by musical standards). Jedward were eliminated halfway through the 2009 series of X Factor. They still decided to release this laughably awful cover of 'Ice Ice Baby' and even managed to get Vanilla Ice himself on the track (I'm sure he needed the money). They would later represent Ireland in Eurovision since the UK didn't want them anymore. 4-4-2 may be the only band in UK chart history whose name looks like part of a chart run. Alas that is the only interesting thing about them and 'Come On England' is not only an awful football song but ruins an 80s anthem 'Come On Eileen'. Last place goes to Cliff Richard with his attempt at Christmas #1. Thankfully it in fact missed #1 because it's seriously awful. We'll stick to listening to 'Mistletoe & Wine'. |

290-281
3.82 281 50 Cent feat. Eminem & Adam Levine – My Life 3.74 282 JLS – Take A Chance On Me 3.72 283 Ronan Keating & Yusuf - Father And Son 3.72 284 Union J – You Got It All 3.52 285 The Wizard Of Oz Film Cast – Ding-Dong! The Witch Is Dead 3.51 286 Soulja Boy Tell’em – Crank That (Soulja Boy) 3.29 287 Nickelback – Rockstar 3.22 288 Dappy feat. Brian May – Rockstar 3.09 289 Gordon Haskell - How Wonderful You Are 2.95 290 Ronan Keating - I Hope You Dance Ronan Keating pops up again, twice. Yet that's still not the last we've seen of him. Another #2 selling from the radio 2 moms market from Gordon Haskell also appears, seems like such an odd song to get such a high chart position. Such a bad song too. Songs titled Rockstar aren't exactly popular on Buzzjack. Two of them both land in this section next to each other. Dappy thought it'd be a good idea to have a rap-rock song but more bizarrely Brian May agreed to playing guitar on it. As for Nickelback the song seems to be very marmite but gathers a lot more hate here, having 13 -1s (but also three 11s). Soulja Boy Tell'em with his huge US urban hit also got many -1s, eleven of them. I'm one of the few who actually loves the song though, oops More boybands drop out, firstly Union J who somehow went to #2 with this dullfest but left the chart just as fast as it came. It would be their last hit single too as infamously they got dropped and one of the members left the band. JLS also here with what looks like an ABBA cover from its title but is actually just a very boring original song back from when they were still relevant enough to be going top 2 with anything they released pre-album. 50 Cent tried to get his first #1 with 'My Life' but ultimately just missed out and had a very poor chart run. It's not too good of a song either which may explain it. Fiddy appears again later in the countdown with the much better 'Ayo Technology'. And The Wizard Of Oz Cast, yep that happened. You all know the story. |

Poor Rockstar(s) don't get why the Nickelback song is hated to such extent it's a tune IMO.

280-271
4.24 271 Robbie Williams & Gary Barlow – Shame 4.24 272 Gary Barlow – Let Me Go 4.21 273 Chipmunk feat. Chris Brown – Champion 4.20 274 Blue - Guilty 4.19 275 Westlife – What About Now 4.11 276 McFly – One For The Radio 4.08 277 Blazin' Squad - Flip Reverse 4.05 278 Shaggy & Ali G - Me Julie 3.91 279 James Arthur - You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves You 3.83 280 Fast Food Rockers - Fast Food Song Fast Food Rockers had a very big novelty song, which alongside The Cheeky Girls were big tunes for me at the time (I was like 6 okay ). Whilst it's not technically a good song I'll probably always have somewhat of a liking for it. James Arthur, yep people forgot about him quickly but he actually did have a hit after 'Impossible'. Though it didn't spent very long in the chart and wasn't well received by the majority. I don't miss him to be honest. Some blegh urban songs drop out here including 'Champion' which was really annoying at the time mostly because of Chris Brown's whining. Westlife with what may as well be a poor X Factor winning single also exit. 'What About Now' would be their final #2 hit single, but not their final 'number two' in terms of quality. McFly really had some awful songs in the mid 00s, more than they did tolerable ones anyway. One of the truly awful ones drops out as fast as it did out of the top 40. Gary Barlow has two of his songs next to each other, one of them with Robbie Williams and the other with Mumford & Sons |

I have a bit of a weakness for Fast Food Rockers & The Cheeky Girls, same with Las Ketchup, mid 00s novelty will always be quite close to my heart cos of the memories *.
No great losses so far though. |

danG is brutal in his commentary!
But I agree, there's (expectedly) a lot of shit in the bottom area. |

270-261
4.69 261 U2 & Green Day The Saints Are Coming 4.67 262 Jonas Blue feat. Dakota - Fast Car 4.59 263 Flo Rida Whistle 4.51 264 Willow Whip My Hair 4.51 265 Busted - Air Hostess 4.47 266 LunchMoney Lewis - Bills 4.43 267 will.i.am feat. Justin Bieber - #thatPOWER 4.40 268 Geraldine The Winners Song 4.38 269 Loick Essien feat. Tanya Lacey How We Roll 4.38 270 The Vamps Last Night The Vamps had a number of top 3 hits of which 'Last Night' was one of them. Fortunately it didn't make #1 and most of you agree that this is the worse of The Vamps' #2 hits. Loick Essien is perhaps one of the most forgotten #2 hits of the decade. It was equally surprising at the time as it was with hindsight that he went as high as #2. I very much liked the song though, clearly moreso than most of Buzzjack. Geraldine was the winner of a 'reality TV' show, the difference being it was a staged show by Peter Kay (who played as Geraldine). The fakeness didn't stop people buying the winning single though and it made #2. It's not that great of a song though which was probably the intention. will.i.am decided that putting a hashtag on his single was a good idea, I still don't know why but thankfully it was just for this single. I quite like the song though. LunchMoney Lewis may be one of the worst stage names for a singer but that didn't stop his 'Bills' from being a big hit here. It did get annoying very quickly for many here so its position is not a surprise. Flo Rida made a song about getting his whistle blown, which is definitely not a reference to a BuzzJack (or something else with the same acronym). Of course, being Flo Rida, the song was unfairly hated even though it's brilliant Also dropping out is current hit single 'Fast Car' by Jonas Blue, which was always going to get a bad rep for covering such a classic - as well as songs by Willow, Busted and the charity U2 & Green Day collaboration. |

That's true.
Whistle was probably one of the worst Flo Rida songs did. |

260-251
4.88 251 Will Young - Don't Let Me Down / You And I 4.85 252 Baha Men - Who Let The Dogs Out 4.84 253 Cheeky Girls - Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum) 4.81 254 Chris Brown - Run It 4.81 255 Chamillionaire feat. Krayzie Bone Ridin 4.79 256 Martine McCutcheon - I'm Over You 4.72 257 The Wanted Heart Vacancy 4.72 258 Kym Marsh - Cry 4.71 259 R. City feat. Adam Levine - Locked Away 4.69 260 Craig David feat. Sting - Rise & Fall Whilst Craig David was well known for making good garage and RnB tunes, he had some boring songs too, such as 'Rise & Fall' which is more fall than it is rise in this countdown. R. City, a group whose name unfortunately sounds like Arse City (something they should've thought about before naming themselves) brought 'Locked Away' near the top of the chart last year but didn't have many fans on Buzzjack. They've yet to have another hit. The Wanted broke through with a fairly good single in 'All Time Low' but then proceeded to go down the path of boybland with their 2nd release. Boyband ballads really are the worst :') Chamillionaire made an iconic urban rap song in 'Ridin' which was huge in 2006. Sadly but unsurprisingly most of you hate this, I think it's a proper jam though. Also from 2006 is Chris Brown with his debut single 'Run It'. Speaking of jams, we have some novelty jams here next to each other in 'The Cheeky Song' and 'Who Let The Dogs Out', both massive early 00s hits and defining songs of my early childhood. Will Young, Kym Marsh and Martine McCutcheon also appear with songs I'm unfamiliar with. |
