The true winner of X Factor is on the brink of "inking a big record deal with major label" and the resulting album - her 5th in total excluding her Chinese album - will be influenced by Sia, Lady Gaga and Kate Bush. She will also be co-writing much of her album and exact details are expected to be revealed by Saara in a matter of days!

I'm still not sure I see Saara being a chart phenomenon, but she could carve out a Rebecca Ferguson-esque Radio 2 audience if the material is strong enough. Eurovision 2018 is a must though!

Having listened to her album Tonight with Teemu Roivainen, she could do quite well in that field. It's kind of adult contemporary, not all opera but she did do Con Te Partiro and The Prayer for example, alongside Wuthering Heights and You Raise Me Up, I guess it's like Joe McEdlerry's Classic. Her voice is incredible and really fits that and it's very suited to shifting albums.

I'd prefer personally more pop though, the influences she's listed sound brilliant!

Album title should be 'Songs in the range of Aalto' biggrin.gif .

All song titles should begin with A, in homage to the fact she has so many A's in her name. smile.gif

I think she could get one hit single from this and then have a good selling adult contemporary album. Maybe she could even represent us in Eurovision and get us another top 10 hit finally biggrin.gif

I don't see her as a commercial prospect in terms of singles but she might have a hit album and could definitely be a musicals star or a big TV personality.

I really hope she can get some success. I agree its likely she wont be a singles artist, but hopefully she can get 1 top 40 single to her name. I hope an album would do ok for her. I am looking forward to hearing something from her next year.

Reportedly she is getting a joint record deal with Syco and Sony Music Finland. That makes sense to me - Sony label from her homeland and SYCO can promote her music in the UK.

It does look like SYCO was mainly interested in 5AM this season.

Awesome! She so deserves to be the UK's equivalent of Sia ─ big pop ballads are her thing and I'm pretty sure she could get a hit if the right song was released. I just hope Syco market her as a singles/streaming artist instead of an adult album artist, if you get what I mean.

She has a 5 album deal, Simon said on stage right after the final result that he wanted to work with Saara and she had the contract offer the following day. She's off to work with Diane Warren in the New Year and is hoping to work with Sia on songs specifically for her - as said above, she already has been given a Sia song to record.

She has already announced her first arena show ever, a 12,000 seater in Helsinki. Finnish broadcaster will also be following her around for a documentary.

This is all very promising! ohmy.gif

Considering her history with talent shows she should cover ABBA's The Winner Takes It All and call her album "Runner Up".

Something is coming from her soon, she posted an iamamiwhoami-esque video on her Instagram yesterday. Link.

She way by far the highlight of last year's series but I really don't think she's going to be successful at all sad.gif Apparently she's going to be a judge on X Factor Finland next year though laugh.gif

Yeah, I'd be very very surprised if she got any success. I suppose with an amazing Sia esque song it could happen but I don't see it really.
