Good to see David J Watson back, one year he needs to go through!
Also that primary school reminded me so much of Nativity and Mr Poppy. This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: 7th April 2019, 12:27 PM |

I immediately thought of Nina when that ventriloquist was on. I did laugh at him, but it was only because David went all out for him. Other than that, he wasn't nearly as good at the actual ventriloquism and voices as Nina was.
The head teacher made my heart melt. That was so beautiful to watch. He clearly loves those kids to bits and they had the time of their lives up there. |

I wonder how that ventriloquist gets on with ordinary audience members (as Nina Conti does) rather than professional show-offs such as David Walliams.

Also Nina literally did her act on a show David was hosting!

Absolutely loved the opening show. Even watched it again yesterday on ITV2. The school choir. Elizabeth the magician, sword act, singing piano playing mum, Dalek, great stuff.
Sad news. Jack Saunders, 25, part of dance act Green Force Five, who have reached the live semis, has committed suicide. ITV are still deciding whether to show the audition. |

They might have to show it - as in the bit with the rooms they will be stood with other contestants.
But after that it wil depend if the act want to carry on without him. Very sad though |

Well Flakefleet releeased their Christmas campaign song a year early didn't they
My favourite was the comedy pianist (forgot her name already oops), agree with the Nina Conti comparisons for the ventriloquist and the Vardanyan brothers are basically the same as the Giangs from last year |

Loved the first episode, especially the creepy magician and the school kids.
I don't normally like kids singing/dance acts but they were brilliant. I was good to see an act like that where they looked like they were genuinely having fun, and the teacher didn't care if everyone is in perfect line, as long as they were enjoying themselves. |

The 'Dalek' was just really bad.

Martyn Crofts did the Dalek thing in 2012, and was much better!

Honestly any Dalek / Doctor Who parodies on this show are pretty excruciating :')

Justice for The Deep Space Deviants! The only act ever to get 4 buzzers in the live shows.
I was quite enjoying it |

I might do a BGT winners' rate at the end of this series.
Speaking of, what happened to Tokio Myers? I thought he'd do at least one pop crossover before he faded away. This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: 8th April 2019, 05:20 PM |

Series 8 finalist Jon Clegg has said that Jimmy had been doing his vent act for '42 years' - which is fair enough. But Nina is the one who has shown it is successful.

Susan Boyle will be performing 'I Dreamed a Dream' on tomorrow's show to celebrate 10 years since her audition:
With her debuting a new single for the live shows, Cowell's really going for her comeback. This post has been edited by WhoOdyssey: 12th April 2019, 11:27 AM |

Other acts have had all four buzzed in the semi-finals which have beeen:
Antonio Poyeye (Series 5) Kony Puppets (Series 8) Marty Putz (Series 11) And still Jessica Hobson hasn't had the justice that she deserves. |
