The next Nintendo Direct is tomorrow night at 23:00 BST! All that's been confirmed is news on Pokemon Sword and Shield and Luigi's Mansion 3.

Hopefully we get some good surprises!

They'll reveal the next Smash DLC character I expect, but I'm not expecting a lot given it's supposed to be one that'll disappoint fans

Hopefully some new footage of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I'm still not 100% sold on what was shown at E3, I need to see more. Looking forward to the direct regardless.

For the big announcements I'm predicting a BOTW 2 trailer and a new Mario Kart game

I reckon a good amount of The Legend of Zelda deets, mainly BOTW 2 but also a legacy/anthology collection. Another spin off would be fantastic but Hyrule Warriors came out not too long ago.

Mario Kart 9 would be great but I’m not entirely sure how different it could be to MK8. A “story” mode similar to what Crash racing had could be cool but more fleshed out and adding multiple characters from other franchises (on top of the ones already in MK8.

I mean there’s literally so many Nintendo anniversaries this year it’s crazy. Pokémon 25th, Zelda 35th, Donkey Kong 40th, Animal Crossing 20th, Pikmin 20th, Metroid 35th, Kid Icarus 35th, F-Zero 30th,

Plus major anniversaries for previous consoles but I’m not sure how relevant those are. I suppose more virtual consoles similar to what we already have for NES and SNES could come but I’m not getting my hopes up

I was just thiking while playing MK8 yesterday we must be due MK9, that's coming up for 7 years ago now!! I don't mind if it's not too different but just has lots of new tracks of something but then they could have just done MK8 DLC for that.

Well the MK8 we have on Switch includes DLC from the Wii U version so I would guess they didn't wanna add any more DLC to an already "Deluxe" version of the game

Mario Kart Ultimate... that could actually work They could basically follow the same structure as Smash Bros and include all kinds of characters and create tracks based on different games.

Imagine a Minecraft map navigating caves and the nether, with everyone from Mario to Pac Man in minecarts An Ender Pearl item which jumps you ahead like Bullet Bill does

There were a few games I was interested in. Me, Jay, & Harry watched the stream together and videocalled on Discord. There was that weird Volleyball game or whatever it was. I thought that looked interesting and I'd like to see a bit more about that.

Nintendo's E3 Direct is on Tuesday at 5pm BST! Very very excited for this, not sure what to predict though.

My main hope as always is Mario Kart 9 but I think it's unlikely

I'd like to see Breath Of The Wild 2. Were meant to be getting news about that at some point this year, and that was said in February so E3 is the perfect time to do that imo. I'd happily take MK9 as well but if that isn't coming for a whilez I'd always enjoy some MK8D DLC x

I think realistically any MK8D DLC would have happened by now! Though you can never tell with Nintendo

There were rumours a while ago that the Odyssey team were now working on a Donkey Kong game, so I can see that being one of the big "surprises" there.

Definitely, you can never tell with Nintendo. The only thing that gives me some hope about it is that it took them a year/over a year to add online to Mario Party but we'll find out tomorrow anyway

I've never bought a donkey Kong game. I'm not really a big side scrolling platformer fan but if they were to make a fully 3D platformer in the same vein as Mario I'd maybe bite.
I'm already super excited for Mario + Rabbids : Sparks Of Hope.

I think if I could have 3 wishes that are fairly realistic, I'd go for:

- Mario Kart 9
- 3D Donkey Kong game
- Metroid Prime Trilogy remakes (I still think MP4 is a while off yet)

That should be fun! Banana Blitz is just a bit meh so I found it odd they remade that, especially without all the mini games that made the original version fun, so I'm glad we'll be getting the earlier games too.

Very disappointed with it really! There was enough that I'm interested in (particularly WarioWare and Metroid), but there wasn't really a *wow* moment for me that usually make these E3 Directs special.

I was very very happy with that! I can't believe we're finally getting a 3D platformer Kirby game, the Splatoon & Animal Crossing stuff was good to see as well.

The Mario film cast choices are quite inspired as well but I have no idea what to think until the trailer comes out!

My thoughts:

GB/GBC & GBA service is great but I would like to see the following games.
GB - Mario Land 1, Donkey Kong Land 1, 2 & 3
GBA - Donkey Kong Country 3 (1 & 2 also), Mario Pinball, Mario Party Advance.
Probable a few others I’m forgetting.

Would’ve liked more Mario content like Baseball or Party for the Switch, wasn’t expecting a new Mario game. I think that be announced in September.

Wave 4 trailer for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe looked good though.

I've just downloaded the Game Boy/Advance apps, not too many games on either at the moment but it will hopefully bulk up. Will be good to play through Super Mario Land 2 again, and Wario Land 3 (although I prefer the first two).

That’s also party why I want Donkey Kong Country 3 & Yoshi’s Island. They both have GBA exclusive levels.
