Well that's not the most exciting update ever, is it? I was definitely expecting them to add Harry Styles this week. They also could have added Kings of Leon, Tiesto, London Grammar, Tom Grennan, Celeste...
Also thought they would have A-listed 'Coco' and 'No Time For Tears', there's a few songs on the A-list which feel like they've outstayed their welcome.
Hopefully 'Lucid' and 'Rapture' will climb to the B-list next week.
Only 11 songs on the C-list this week but there's a couple of errors on the website so I'm wondering whether there's a new addition they've forgotten to type up...

I heard the other day that starting this week Radio 1 are going to be championing a 'future artist' for a month and playing different songs of theirs throughout the day for the next month. This month's artist is TSHA so I wonder if that might have taken the last playlist slot.
I agree, not a very exciting update this week, there is loads of stuff that they could have added, most of which you've mentioned there, however I am happy to see Pa Salieu move up to the A List and for Bicep to survive for a 7th week on the playlist.

Happy for the Lana, SZA and Slowthai adds. I agree that there's some glaring omissions from the playlist - surely London Grammar, Celeste, Tiesto, Prospa and Harry must be added soon. Hopefully the new tracks by Ashnikko, Pale Waves and Baby Queen will all get an add in the near future.

I was definitely expecting an instant A list add for Olivia, a strangely slow reaction to how huge the song is obviously being.
Was also hoping for Anne-Marie to be instantly added, particularly as To Be Young went straight to the A list...!!

I feel like To Be Young flopping has put them off insta adding Anne-Marie and they’ll probably wait to see how this one is received. I can definitely see it being added next week though.
Also, I’m not particularly surprised about Olivia Rodrigo only being on the C List. Admittedly I can’t remember the last time a debut single was this huge, but it’s only ever established artists that get insta adds. I think Old Town Road last year was only added onto the C List initially when it was blowing up.

Wouldn't surprise me if Olivia goes C-A?
Pleased to see SZA being added (and I have only heard a few seconds of the slowthai song so far due to it popping up as a YouTube advert but it already sounded like a banger x), and yay for BERWYN going up to B as well after his previous playlisted track stalled on the C-List IIRC!

Maybe but they still love Anne-Marie, they even gave her new Xmas song ‘Think of Christmas’ loads of spot plays over the December period.
