^ love it.
Mine will always be this (which happens to be my #1 song from her, so obviously biased when it comes to others not appreciating it): |

Oh I agree about Rehab when it comes to singles, so stunning and the lyrics are so touching/relatable as well.

If i was to think of album tracks, i'd probably go for 'Half Of Me' which is definitely a highlight off of 'Unapologetic' so how it was just tacked on as a bonus track i'll never know!?
'G4L' is a BEAST too but i think that's a widely accepted opinion, yes? (at least it better be ) |

Should have been a single tbh Yes! Was always one of my favourites from the GGGB era. For me it would have to be this absolute beauty: Definitely in my Rihanna top 3. Just so sensual. Another one would be 'Do Ya Thang'. Not even sure what it is about it but I just love it. Also, before the singles knockout I wouldn't have ever thought they were underrated but 'Birthday Cake' and 'Pour It Up'! Some of my absolute favourites, especially the former (and especially the Chris Brown version). Was obsessed with it for weeks when it first premiered. Yes I love Do My Thang, so cute! She does have really strong albums despite what people say about them being filler, her first two are pretty poor but pretty much everything else since then has been strong.

For some reason I always think of them as being filler until I listen to them! Haha.
'Rated R' will always be my favourite though I think. |

Cry is amazing, but I think California King Bed is probably her most underrated single. It's amazing, unlike a lot of her other less appreciated works.

'Do Ya Thang' yes
And i agree Jack, she often gets unfairly tarnished as just having the singles and that's it. But then you look at 'Loud' and 'Rated R' in particular and they have one (two at the very most) fillers and the rest is either good or amazing. Though looking at it now and I'd go as far as to say 'Rated R' doesn't even have one!? The latest two have had a fair bit of filler though, and even some monstrosities ('Nobody's Business', 'Cockiness...', 'Loveeeeeee Song' to name a few) so i am hoping the next album is a return to good album form and consistency. |

I'm really hoping the wait for the album will mean it's an altogether stronger and more focused album than the last two. While they've had a lot of standouts, they really weren't up to the standard of 'Rated R' and 'LOUD' and it's just annoying when we all know what she's capable of!

I think this is the most excited I have been for a Rihanna album, or actually album in general in a LONG time.

I really thought I was the only one who appreciated Do Ya Thang <3
Basically every album track off Rated R needs more love (no matter how much it has already), those already mentioned yes but also Stupid In Love particularly, I have a big soft spot for that. My big one I think though is Fading, always one that seems to get skipped over from Loud (even more underrated than CKB, which sorely needs more love for one of her singles) but I think it (Fading) is one of her most accomplished and beautiful ballads. |

"If I Never See Your Face Again"
I know it's only a feature but it was included on Good Girl Gone Bad so I'm counting it. I have no idea how it flopped given it was basically the follow-up to "Umbrella" but I think it's a great duet between the two artists. I know it's one of Rihanna's poppiest efforts but she was pretty much a pop artist from 2005-8 and only since 2009 has she branched into different sub-genres in my opinion. |

I'll have to refer to the Rated R era here, 'Russian Roulette' is properly her forgotten/overlooked single now and it kills me that the inferior and more shallow 'Diamonds' is more well known. So dark, haunting, devastatingly beautiful.
'Rockstar 101' gets a lot of unfair hate, I love the brash attitude and how she really lets herself go in it (though I do agree it was a huge mistake to try and make it a single), also 'Cold Case Love' is possibly my favourite ballad of hers. Gah, that album really showed she does have talent. I'd kill for something like it again. |

Big yes from me!To name one that hasn't been said at all... probably 'Good Girl Gone Bad' (song). Always been a very clear highlight from that album for me and we also have 'Farewell' from 'Talk That Talk to mention in here. Stunning in every aspect! |
