Xtra Factor is far worst than last year, I don't like the new concept "switches off"

I turned this on right at the end and they showed Honey G - that might have convinced me to stick with this series this time

Am I the only one that thought this was SUPER good? In comparison to other recent years I thought this was brilliant, the perfect mixture of good and bad acts and I was in stitches so many times.

I agree that it was a very enjoyable opening show! Honey G was my highlight of them all though, what a brilliantly bizzare woman *.*

Yeah Honey G was the clear highlight last night no questions asked.
The only other one I particularly cared for was the woman who sang Crazy, good audition. I'm liking the panel reunion & the room auditions combo this series, like a flashback to 10 years ago when it was at its peak. However I hate the side comments from the other contestants watching on the big screens, so orchestrated... |

Finals confirmed for Dec 10. So assuming there are 12 finalists and no double eliminations, that would give us a 8th October start date. However I suspect there will at least one double so October 15th seems more likely. For the winners single this year. I think we will see a streaming release after the final. Followed by a download and physical the following Friday in time for the Christmas chart. |

6.8M for The X Factor. Very low, 800K down on last year.

Overnight ratings matter less right now when many people watch on demand or record and watch later, I'll be more interested in the final ratings!

For the winners single this year. I think we will see a streaming release after the final. Followed by a download and physical the following Friday in time for the Christmas chart. Can't see that happening as it'd be lucky to go top 75 as a streaming only release and the media really would have a field day. For X Factor putting all of the eggs in one basket for the best first week peak is probably the best way to go. I'm glad they won't be releasing on Xmas week though. ---- Honey G was amusing indeed, her Work It performance was quite impressive and had good timing actually! The whole show felt like we'd been transported back to 2005, with all of the usual cliches. I won't miss it when it finishes for good but I still quite enjoy watching it. |

Just came to say that I'm happy the smug smile on Louis Walsh's face can be truly WIPED off seeing as the ratings are down even further on last year after all the slagging off of last year's series and his arrogant attitude in all the interviews he's done over the past year. That's the only reason why I care about the ratings.
