i LOVE MJ's - but this isn't their greatest record. I don't think it stands up particularly well to 'Radlands', and I didn't think that was their greatest record either. 'Bubblegum' is lovely, I agree, but it's probably one of only 3-4 that are really up there with their best stuff.

In fairness I haven't listened to Radlands before although I am aware it's a bit of a cult classic. I thought Curve of the Earth just flows perfectly and there are so many songs on it I'm in love with.
Really impressed by how they've remained relevant from that noughties band influx. Looking forward to the new EP in September. |
