Yeah I know that heehee.gif the thread title was referring to just solo female artists (not as featured on dance tracks either). If that were the case I'd have included other dance tracks with female vocalists.

I'll edit that in as I probably wasn't totally clear tongue.gif

Another one that springs to mind is Kelly Clarkson. I remember being impressed she managed to get a top 10 with streaming last year. Even if was one of her weakest tracks!

Miley Cyrus
Lily Allen

Lily Allen's last top 10 single was "Air Balloon" and that was before the streaming era and Miley Cyrus hasn't had a top 10 since "Wrecking Ball"

Scrolling through the old Streaming Chart (the one pre-July 2014) I was shocked to find that both Primadonna by Marina & The Diamonds and Euphoria by Loreen made the Top 10 and had nice Top 40 runs ohmy.gif (the chart only started sometime mid-May so I can only assume Primadonna had some weeks before that as well in the Top 40)

Euphoria -> 8-22-13-14-19-25-27-32-33-37
Primadonna -> 9-8-9-10-10-14-22-29

I'm especially shocked about Euphoria because it only spent 4 weeks in the official top 40 but here it's present for some 10 weeks.

I know it's not quite what this thread is about but I found it fitting to post here since this thread inspired me to go scroll through those archives.

That featured Mikky Ekko, her last true solo top ten was Diamonds.
Oh. This is SO SAD! sad.gif It's amazing how we all think it's Rihanna's name that brings the guaranteed smashes haha. Maybe not so much anymore. </3 'Love On The Brain' to end this dry spell of solo Rihanna top 10 singles, please.

That's amazing for Loreen (and Marina ofc). But I guess they'd struggle a lot more now as more people use streaming services now than they did back then, so I'd imagine it'd have been a similar situation to where we're currently at with iTunes right now.
