NOTE: From now on the US and UK box office prediction will be together

Well the prediction game didn't work out so I am trying out another idea which isn't really a game. The new releases are above and you vote in the poll for what you predict the film will open with. Posse post your answers and hopefully this creates discussion

US new release:
Child 44- Thriller based off a book staring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace Only playing in 500 theatres
Monkey Kingdom- DisneyNature documentary
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2- Unnecessary sequel that no one wants
True Story- Jonah Hill/ James Franco drama Only playing in 550 theatres
Unfriended- Horror movie set on Skype

UK new releases:
A Little Chaos- Alan Rickman directed drama starring Kate Winslet
Child 44- Thriller based off a book staring Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace
The Town That Dreaded Sundown- Horror remake

My predictions:
US- Unfriended will hit big (35M), Paul Blart will bomb (13M), Monkey Kingdom will bomb (5M), child 44 (3M) and true story (1.7M) will struggle due to small release
UK- A little chaos will do solid (570k), child 44 will struggle (240k), the town that dreaded sundown will bomb (95k)

For the UK:

Child 44; 500k. Don't think it'll do wildly different from John Wick last week.
A Little Chaos; 475k. By the same logic, I'm basing this on the performance of Suite Francaise laugh.gif
The Town That Dreaded Sundown. Very limited release, Cineworld don't even have it on at any of their London sites thinking.gif 70k

ACTUALS:

US:
Unfriended disappointed with 15.8M sad.gif
Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 somehow made surpassingly a lot 23.7M ohmy.gif
Monkey Kingdom bombed with 4.5M
True Story was awful with 1.9M. It turned out it played in around 800 theatres instead of 550
Child 44 was a disaster with 621k rotf.gif

UK:
Child 44 did solid with 505k
A little chaos did quite bad with 330k
The town that dreaded sundown made only 30k. However I have no clue why it was listed as wide as it only played at 15 theatres (wide releases are usually +100 theatres!)
