Welcome to the results of the 31st Unknown Pleasures Song Contest. 26 of the 28 entrants have voted. The non voters were Juan Carlos and dhwhore. The results will start at 7.30pm. In the meantime, feel free to speculate on which song you think might win and who you think sent what. |

I think my tip for the win from the listenthrough was A.A. Williams but not super confident about that. I am pretty sure my own entry is going to be bombing though. x |

Hype for Minor Science, Corn Wave, Emancipator, HURTR and Mandy, Indiana! I hope one of those win but would be happy with a couple of others. This was a really decent edition.

I will make a third person predicting a low finish for my entry. If I finish outside of the bottom 5 I will be pleased!

I won't be following along as I'll be at work but I'm happy with a A.A Williams win and it sounds the most likely of the songs but hope Goblin, Giant Swan do very well too.

I imagine I've not done too well here, a top-half finish would be nice! Hype to Giant Swan x

I am most intrigued to find out who sent Minor Science as that sounded like the kind of thing that I'd send to BJSC in a heartbeat if I'd found it myself!

I am most intrigued to find out who sent Minor Science as that sounded like the kind of thing that I'd send to BJSC in a heartbeat if I'd found it myself! When I heard it I thought 'Okay, Bré sent the same entry again' Not a bad thing though, as I usually give big points to stuff like this. I'd love to avoid bottom 5 but I won't hold my breath + I think my 20 has a good chance of winning, so I'm quite hyped for the results! |

A great pick from Rich, staying on point with the electronic entries as ever, what a banger *.*
C Z A R I N A definitely makes sense as a winning contender as well so not a surprise to see that with the early lead (not that the lead after 2 votes really means anything ofc) When I heard it I thought 'Okay, Bré sent the same entry again' Not a bad thing though, as I usually give big points to stuff like this. I'd love to avoid bottom 5 but I won't hold my breath + I think my 20 has a good chance of winning, so I'm quite hyped for the results! they were called Skee Mask when I sent them etc. x |

Corn Wave are from Kyiv in Ukraine. Yoda on ketamine is from their 2022 album, Philosophy Of Structures. QUOTE Hi! Here are my votes. Hopefully some people enjoyed 'yoda on ketamine' - the title immediately stood out to me when I was looking through Corn Wave's discography! It's a much angrier-sounding song than most of their other stuff so I'd recommend trying their chiller tracks, like Shoegaze TV or Youth Full Of Flowers. My 20 points go to... Giant Swan! happy.gif
