I hope you're all suitably ready for this?
Anyone got any ideas what could be found here, what could reign supreme? Much fun yes?

40. This Is The Way

We have begun.
Kicking us off is the 4th single from Dannii's second album, Get Into You. The song wasn't much of a success, making it to #27 over here and missing the Aus top 40.
However I am pretty fond of this song, it's one of the best tracks on GIY, does this mean that there will be more from that era to come? Perhaps.
The video includes Dannii's ex hubby in it too, Mr Nip/Tuck.

I love that song so much, the only song pre-Girl I can really enthuse about aside from 'This Is It'.

39. Jump To The Beat

I will be honest here, when I first bought D's GH, I hated this song, I thought it was waay too dated and cheesy.
It's still dated and cheesy, but I have grown to love a bit of cheese and this has really grown on me, especially when I heard the rest of the Love & Kisses
album, it's a good representation of the album. The video is very gay and very early 90's, makes me glad I was only a baby for most of that period, well, from 1992 onwards.

38. Feel Like I Do

And now a fairly recent song from Dannii. This song was the b-side to So Under Presure and eventually made it onto the Club Disco album.
It's a pretty damn catchy dance number, fairly different to the A-side which it was placed with, which is always good.

Just heard the song and I think it should be the lead single of her GH instead of SUP.

Never that keen on "This Is The Way", but do love "Jump To The Beat" and yes it's dated and cheesy but still love it, and "Feel Like I Do" never heard that before but I do like it, hope "This Is It" is gonna be high, so far great rundown, can't wait to see what's next

37. It's Amazing

drama.gif I can't find a video of this song on youtube, which...sucks. Poo. Anyway, this is a ballady tune from the criminally underrated Girl album and y'all need to go buy this album
and then you'll see why this lovely song appears in my countdown. Her voice, omg, so good.

36. Everybody Changes Underwater

We have another Girl track now, that album slays. This is one of the odder songs Dannii has ever done tbh. The verses are all spoken/whispered and then the chorus
features her singing the title over and over. It all makes for a very heavenly sounding track and one that stands out against the other dance tracks on the album.

I never heard "It's Amazing", but the other one "Everybody Changes Underwater" I just do not like and cannot get into it. The only Dannii album I own apart from her 2nd Greatest Hits collection, is "Neon Nights" which was fantastic and hope to see some of those tracks in this countdown.

35. Coconut

This song is just totally bonkers and I love it.
Another Girl song, can you all tell that I like this album? This song was actually recorded back in 1995 for the follow-up to Get Into You that never happened, something that
happened quite alot in Dannii's career. But this song was then redone and put on Girl and eventually became an Aus only single.
