Yes, apparantly Cheryl's latest hideous single was recorded first by Kylie. Roc Nation thought it was too "pop" for KMO and didn't put it on the album.
Kylie was apparantly not amused Kinda want her version to leak tbh. Do we think her version would be better? Would it be a hit for her is released? http://www.buzzfeed.com/elliewoodward/cher...leased-by-kylie |

I'm doubtful it's true.

This wouldn't have suited Kylie, but still interested to hear her version

It is a crap song, how it has done so well is bizzare, i cant but wonder would it have been as huge for Kylie if this is true?

Given the rumours, I listened to Cole's single and it's just flat and plain (including her voice).

I really like song but it is very much a Cheryl song, not a Kylie one. Maybe it would have been different if Kylie did it but still... I don't get how it was seen as too pop for KMO though, it's more R&B than most of KMO (I Was Gonna Cancel being the big exception) and it's not as if the album is full of dirty crunk anthems

I imagine if it is true, then it was scrapped in the early KMO stages when the album was gonna be more "edgy"

The song is such a non-event, 'Into The Blue' is far superior.

Even if Kylie had released it, it wouldn't have done well.

In this day and age, whatever Kylie releases would not do well and Cheryl could fart into a microphone and take it to #1. I really do doubt there is any truth in this whatsoever though... She does that anyway though, doesn't she? Only way to explain why she would mime all her songs when they take no effort to sing. |

Yeah this definitely isn't a 'Toxic' situation where she really let a big one get away - 'Crazy Stupid Love' would almost certainly have bombed for Kylie. It's the sort of song that somehow does well for Cheryl and Cheryl alone.

I can actually imagine her singing the "well I don't know how you do it to me..." section and of course the "la la la la la la la love" bit. The song could have been quite different if it had been kept with Kylie, considering the verses were rewritten for Cheryl's version. Maybe the saxophone wouldn't have been "a thing" in a Kylie version either.

anything Kylie releases will flop even if she performs it at the X factor final.... radio refuses to playlist her.... Into the blue and Crystallize just prove that no matter how much the songs are good she will never get a hit, even less now with the inclusion of streaming as a chart component...

I think you might be over exaggerating just a tiny bit there....
