There already is another thread for this on the Lounge, (I suggest they be merged) but RIP George Too Funky is a funky house classic

Very sad but not totally surprising given his lifestyle.

Very sad, RIP.
I'd recommend keeping this thread in the chart forum as it can serve as a place to discuss the positions of his songs in the upcoming chart, plus the Chart and Lounge forums are both totally separate entities so it's only apt to have threads in both places. |

I'd love for them to make a complete greatest hits album for George Michael which includes all his solo work and all his Wham! work

I can't believe this We lost so many big stars this year, 2016 must end now! RIP George Michael Yes, I thought Rick Parfitt would surely be the last of this wretched year but the way we are going now it seems like there is still time to fit another one in before January 1st. I would happily celebrate New Year tonight if it would end this slaughter! |

This topic is fine in here, not many chart people visit the lounge, still in shock though, I just grew up listening to his music, he is only 5 years older than me, which makes it so shocking to hear, when the likes of Mick Jagger are still going pass their prime, I really sense another musician is going to pass away before the year is out, without sounding morbid, I just want 2016 to end now. Too many famous musicians have passed away.
Praying For Time and A Different Corner his best hits, the lyrics on them are so heartfelt and meaningful, his music will never be forgotten. What a way to start a year with David Bowie passing away and now George, my two favourite musicians has left a large gaping hole in the music industry. |

RIP a great talent. Ladies & Gentleman The Best Of is No.1 on Amazon cd sales but now out of stock. The Best Of Wham is No.4. I'd imagine stocking will be a problem with his cd's as he's not had a very recent compilation. I personally think that 25 is the better compilation.
