My idea for a new Spice Girls era is for them to do cover songs. However, most of these covers would be covers of their own, spicy solo singles. I think it would have some appeal and probably get to #2 for them.
Imagine the Spices singing Mi Chico Latino, Look At Me, Feels So Good, I Turn To You and even better, as the first single, One Day In Your Life? Not only that, but they could release the cover songs they planned to put on the third album, such as Sisters, Celebration, etc. It would bring the solo songs more into the Spice history, which is an integral part of it, seeing as the band didn't last too long, and get more interest in their solo back catalogue, and be more appealing to the public, as they already KNOW these songs, and would be willing to listen again and be curious about how they sound as a group. Popchart always talks aboot how the statistics show that after a certain age, people become less and less interested in discovering new music, but returning to the familiar. Spices have older fans. I think it would work. What do y'all think?
Just imagine this as a 4/5 piece:
It passed most people by, but is still familiar to their hardcore fans, and is a massive BOP and very spicy.
I think they should do cover of truly classic girl group songs, such as Vanilla's No Way No Way.
