I'm trying not to get my hopes up here since it took them three years to release a new album after Brand New Eyes but Hayley confirmed today that Paramore are in the process of writing their next album
  Sure, it's early days as this tweet is pretty much all we have right now and it could be years from now before it's released but thank god they plan on giving us more music as it's been too long since their self-titled  *edit* Album art!! Good. Hopefully not too much longer to wait then. I mean, fairly obvious that by the sound of it it won't be done for several months yet but good to hear there are plans for one at least, I was half worried they'd do a quiet split given recent circumstances.

Yea I was feeling so nervous for Paramore's future despite them saying they'd continue as a two piece, but they haven't toured since 2014 so what have they been doing for a year?
 I presumed they were writing and recording but I don't think Jeremy would have left in the middle of that, so I get the impression they're starting from scratch, I really hope they don't release another "we're different without you and have moved on" album like their self-titled was, I mean I love it but could do with out regurgitation of it :')

I don't think Jeremy leaving had as bad of a "tone" as the Farro's leaving so I would hope/and kinda think they won't go down that route again.

Still don't know much about this other than they're in the process of writing, maybe even recording however over the past few days Taylor and Hayley have been posting some photos with Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Produced their self-titled) and Zac Farro (their former drummer), to me that's a bit of an indication that JMJ is producing their 5th album and Zac is possibly playing drums on it, maybe he's helping them write maybe he'll even rejoin the band?
 Honestly, that would make me so happy, I really miss him and he's an incredible drummer, I was gutted that he left in 2010 whereas I wasn't too bothered about Josh I'm trying not to get my hopes up though as nothing has been confirmed...  [Eating with people not doing anything special at all]  [Eating again]  [Yeahhh] I really do think there's something to this, especially since it's been posted on all of Paramore's social media accounts and not just a personal post by Hayley  Justin Meldal-Johnsen also sometimes plays bass for bands too... They also should make Justin York (Taylor's Brother) a permanent member imo as he's been their touring guitarist and backing vocalist for years now.

I think this is scheduled to be released early next year, we might get new Paramore music before then though
Photographer Jeremy Cowart has come up with an idea to build a hotel where each room sponsors a child and has their stories within them. The idea is being funded by a kickstarter campaign and there's even going to be an album for it which will help fund the hotel too, from what I can gather. I'd recommend clicking this link though as it explains it a hell of a lot better than I can Paramore are on the list of artists appearing on it!  Idk if it's going to be a track from their upcoming album the way 'Decode' appeared on Brand New Eyes or if it will be be completely separate, it doesn't really matter as it's still new Paramore music *.* They have that article on their Twitter so it's looking pretty official atm although I can't seem to find any info on when the album is out or how you can even listen to it, maybe it will become available after the 2nd/3rd of September when the kickstarter campaign ends

ZAC FARRO IS BACK IN THE BAND
 Paramore confirmed it by releasing a shirt on their official Web store with Zac as a toddler on it captioned "I'm back", they've also updated their social media icons with the image and sent out news letters to anyone signed up for them titled "Zac's Back". I'm SO SO hyped, I've always loved Zac, he's a hella talented drummer so the fact that he's not only back for their next album, but for everything has me more than excited Hayley said in a tweet recently that they were 95% done with the album so I'm still hopeful of a 2017 release but we'll see :') |
