Week 6 now, and I'm revisiting a song that is quite often overlooked in the world of Justin! Born To Be Somebody was written by Diane Warren, and was included on the Never Say Never remix album, but never a full studio album. I've always found it a very inspiring song, and I love the way it builds throughout.

I totally forgot about this song blush.gif I also love how it builds throughout the song and its nice that they used strings, it's not very often his songs make use of those instruments which is unfortunate because they always sound so beautiful wub.gif

I am going RECENT with the absolute stomper 'Children'. Not sure why it wasn't a single but it got a MOVEMENT video which is a start.

I feel like it's a modern day take on the MJ inspired peace ballads. And it goes OFF in the chorus music.gif Such a banger ~

This just came on my Spotify and it's a BOP !!

I'm going slightly left-field now with a track that Bieber features on, with his long time supporter and protege, Carly Rae Jepsen. 'Beautiful' appears on Carly's 'Kiss' album and is a stripped back ballad with sweet lyrics and a folk-like mood. It's not a stand out on the album and doesn't really leave a lasting impression but it's a lovely duet and a nice collaboration for the pair. I'd love a new collab between the two more in the vein of their more modern material!

It didn't quite live up to my expectations of a Carly/Justin duet but I still really enjoy it wub.gif surprised they never released it as a single tbh!

It took about 3 years for me to even slightly like it, I always used to skip it on Carly's album. laugh.gif

It's a cute, sweet overly sentimental and cheesy song.

Time to revive this I think! My choice this week is Justin's collaboration with Cody Simpson, initially intended to be the lead single from their collaborative acoustic album which was eventually shelved. Home to Mama is a lovely little track, not the best for either artist but I think they sound brilliant together.
