We've not had a greatest hits album since Celebration a decade ago, and with Kylie basking in the glory of a definitive collection - what would you call Madonna's next greatest hits album? Serious and jokey answers welcomed |

It needs a simple title like 'The Ultimate Collection' or similar as I think people tend to look over Celebration and not realise it's an actual Greatest Hits. Casual listeners need it dumbed down to their level to maximise sales I feel.

Madgestic I love this!! Not that Madonna would even humour it. There was a lot of talk on Popjustice about another greatest hits collection a few weeks back. Apparently Madonna's nearing the end of her record deal or something so there's speculation of a compilation to mark the end. Thing is, I don't think there's any need or desire for a new greatest hits collection. Celebration may have a few big omissions but overall it's pretty much a strong collection and I don't think there's any point updating it given the biggest worldwide hit she's had since is 'Give Me All Your Luvin''. Even a collection that had every single from start to finish over multiple discs wouldn't have much appeal. Each of Madonna's three major greatest hits have come at huge points of Madonna's career and had the support of the public. Madonna's public perception, as much as I hate to admit it, is pretty much an all time low. Even if she had an opportunity for a revival like Kylie has had for Glastonbury, I feel like Madonna would have to work even harder to win back the public's approval. If we get some sort of compilation then I'd rather a reworking of her hits or a rarities and unreleased style album. |

I’d love a reworked hits album with Stuart Price!

Yes!! Give us those studio versions of his Erotica and Live to Tell!
I have a feeling he did the reworkings for Take That's latest greatest hits. |
