I'll turn this into a thread for the album. Juice has been added to Hot Hits UK so should hopefully be top 40 officially within a couple of weeks, it's still top 20 on iTunes

The cover's gorgeous but I would prefer it more as a magazine, as it seems a bit sombre for the joyful sounding (imo) title? We all know she's sexy and she's gorgeous, so I would've liked to have seen something that lets her personality shine through as well.

The single cover for 'Juice' is iconic too. Just encountered it on the BBC Radio 1 playlist page. It reminds me of the iconic Leah McFall single cover especially with the red background colour but at least its a much better quality picture!

Cuz I Love You is gorgeous! It has a very throwback soul feel, not what I was expecting her to release following Juice! I'm looking forward to seeing the video now after the excellent one for Juice

The album pre-order is up, there'll be 11 songs on it in total, with the title track as track 1 and Juice as track 3

Nope nothing like Tempo, quite a varied album but Tempo is by far the best along with Juice Soulmate and Like A Girl are fab too, but it's a very strong album. It's varied so no two tracks are too similar but it still has a consistent feel and theme!

I love her but the vocals and production are at an 11 for the majority of the record — the production is especially overdone at times. It's too much.

She's an important artist and I think she deserves all the success and more, but she's just not quite there as an album artist yet.

Usually when females get big hype on here but are underappreciated chart wise I can sort of understand the love for them on the site.

But with Lizzo I really don't get it.

I gave the album a chance but it just didn't appeal to me in the slightest. I really thought i'd like her by the reviews as well.

It's looking set to miss the top 40 as well! Which is kinda a surprise I imagined a top 25 debut from her.

She’s definitely fallen foul to having no physical edition yet. Strange to wait until May 17th really when it could’ve been capitalised this week... unless labels are going to trial this to see how a lack of CD performs as a tester to scrap the format well, it doesn’t work where albums are concerned

On the plus side, she's debuted at #6 in America which is really good! Her promo there was a lot better than here but I still expected a better impact than #42

For some reason Truth Hurts is in the top 100 on UK Spotify which is far higher than Juice has ever gotten, although it seems to be having a small effect on that as it's repeaked too this weekend

because it's an old song
and there are special rules preventing old songs from charting
they can only do it if they sell enough to go straight into the top 50, but they cannot enter in the 51-100 region

Certainly a left field choice and I don't see it doing all to well unforutnately. Although I do really like the song! I'm hoping it'll be able to go top 40 though if it gets decent playlist support.

I really want "Soulmate" to be released at some point. Around mid May/early June to cooincide with the start of summer would be perfect.
