Sorry I've asked an admin to add the poll so hopefully that'll be fixed soon!

It’s between Take That and Buble I think.
But I think a possible dark horse could be Alfie Bowe On another note think Little Mix and Rita Ora stand a chance for the following chart week or the first chart of 2019. This post has been edited by Jordan Lee: 25th November 2018, 02:42 AM |

In an ideal world, Take That will be out of the top 100 by Christmas.

Where's that info of TT's first day?
They don't have a hit and judging by pretty meh sales of their previous album, I don't think they can be #1 in Christmas. My bet is on Bublé or some random "Alfie Boe sings medieval songs backed by Royal Symphony Orchestra" album that goes 1-56 the week after Christmas. There's no mids thread yet but it's been discussed in the album chart thread that TT have matched Bubles weeks sales in one day!

Oh didn't realise TT have been covering their own songs, should do better than regular studio album then. Still might not be enough for Christmas #1 but who knows.

Depends how the album sells on a daily basis as people think it's a huge opener due to preorders!

Some album middle aged housewives love - so I'm assuming Michael Bublé?

It'll probably be Take That or Michael Buble.
I doubt Clean Bandit or Rita Ora will even reach #1. |

Surely it's only realistically going to be Michael Buble or Take That - unless the labels just decide to outright stop promoting them. The 1975 should be able to debut at #1 with relatively big numbers (at least enough to beat Take That's week 2), but I can't see them maintaining these; happy to be proven wrong though.

Really wouldn't be surprised if The Greatest Showman did it.
I was anticipating Michael Buble or George Ezra, but it depends how well Take That hold up. |

Roy Orbison might be contender.
