It's Christmas chart week, with the recent top 2 Ariana Grande's thank u next and Ava Max's Sweet But Psycho looking like the biggest contenders (Ariana's newest track imagine will make an impact also). Chart campaigns and charity singles are prominent as ever, lead by LadBaby's take on We Built This City, with The Fire Tones' Do They Know It's Christmas and Flakefleet Primary's Light Up making a challenge

A year dominated by The Greatest Showman may fittingly end with it taking the Christmas #1 album, Michael Bublé's performance on the Strictly final could give him a chance though

Breakdown of the week
- Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted.
- Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm.
- Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one.
- Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed.
- Thursday: See Tuesday.

Other notes (please read)
- You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod).
- Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Patience is a virtue.
- Sales information will be given out as deemed necessary by a moderator, please bear this in mind when making requests. Most requests for sales will be ignored.
- To keep everyone in the loop of all chart action, please refer to the iTunes and Spotify threads.

I'm surprised the OCC didn't make an article Saturday trying to make it more interesting by reporting the Saturday midweek that excludes streaming. I'm sure they have done the same before to fool people that it's not a foregone conclusion already.

Ladbaby is a youtuber offering parental advice. The single is raising money for the trussel trust (food banks)

Masterton is a twit. It's obvious the only reason Ariana isn't number 1 is because of missing streaming data.

At the moment, LadBaby, The Fire Tones and Flakefleet Primary might just scrape through low Top 50, it really depends how well they hold up. I just think the Xmas tracks might just push the campaign tracks down later in the week.

And another campaign track has surfaced from The Lake Poets called Shipyards

We built this city is awful, truly crap. Ava Max should have got the Christmas no1. The only consolation is X factor isn’t there!

The thing with Ladbaby is he knows hes crap at singing (although his wifr isnt too bad) even in the lyrics he pokes fun at trying to get his wife a christmas number 1

Id rather that do well than a charity track by a load of celebrities that have massive wealth and could probably donate more than the sale would make, pretend they are doing something for charity
