As is my usual custom, I wish to thank the following 9 people who viewed and commented on my personal chart last week: danuary, PeteFromLeeds, JSG, Sergej, Rob., SSP, Mangψ, AdamG and Frenchie. Responses to your comments are in the below post. Midway through the first month of the year and we have a new #1 at the top of the chart, with the dance-pop single LUCID nabbing the top spot from Shane Codd. It is a song that features on many personal charts right now, and one that should take off very soon with renewed radio support. RAYE & Rudimental also move up a place this week, and with the new music video released this week, it becomes my Track of the Week, and a potential #1 this year, having already sat at #1 for a couple of weeks in 2020. The highest new entry this week comes from Ariana Grande, who hasnt featured in this personal chart since 2016 with her single Side To Side due to bad running of the Top 40 Countdown between 2018-2020. The new remix released today will surely help it climb further in the official charts. The Weeknd also achieves a new peak this week, entering the Top 10 with Save Your Tears. There are in fact 6 new entries this week, so along with Ariana, the are dance entries for Movin, Redlight, Imanbek & Goodboys, KUU and Love Legend & Alex Gaudino. Surprisingly the largest climb of 12 places was a song that Ive known about for a long time now, but it still seems to get played and is my most favourite from her latest era, and that is Say Something by Kylie Minogue. Harry Styles has fallen 14 places this week with Golden earning him the Biggest Faller award. This week it is time to bid farewell to London Grammar, Little Mix, Kylie Minogue & Dua Lipa, Disciples, Timmy Trumpet & Gabry Ponte and Mark Knight & Rene Amesz who all exit the Top 40 Countdown. Thank you for stopping by to take a look at my personal chart this week. Comments are welcomed of course, and I hope I can make time to take a look at your personal charts also both for future inspiration and to acknowledge your hard work at putting it together too! "

Yeah, I do hope we get a bit more on the release schedule soon, though it is always dry around Christmas and New Year. It's why there's a load of songs with 10+ weeks and even 20+ weeks in my chart at the moment. There won't be many new entries in the top half of my chart this week anyhow. Although 'Regardless' is looking to climb into my top 40 this week, 'Lucid' should keep climbing too although maybe not top 40 this week. Hopefully this forthcoming Love Regenerator track is great then. Hi Dan! I quite like 'Want You' although I'm not sure if it stands out enough to put it in my chart. Looks like your wish came true, it seems that we have a few dance releases today and in the coming weeks too! Glad youre charting Regardless and LUCID at the moment, two great tracks I can see sticking around in my chart for a while this year. Want You has benefitted from what I expect is its final climb this week, but its been a fresh song to keep me going for a bit, not too bad at all, but I guess slightly generic. Thank you for your comment! Hi Wardy! Hi Pete! Somewhat surprisingly I've not heard Crying At The Discotheque yet so putting that right now! It sounds very 00s pop, not grabbing me right away which is a shame but maybe it will grow? Great to see new peaks for Gold and Golden as well, the latter has reached a new peak in my chart this week as well albeit a lot lower than in yours. Great chart I hope Crying At The Discotheque grows for you, but its an earworm for me which I have enjoyed playing a while mow, but the recent push of Sophies album got it into my chart where it remains in the Top 10 this week! Both Gold and Golden have leaked for me now and they will gradually drop out the chart in the coming weeks. Thank you for your comment! Hey Wardy! Hi James! Get Out My Head with that second week at the top *.* Now, my chart is undergoing a stem change from Monday, so that chart will look a bit out of whack but... New songs should enter near the bottom and climb to their peaks instead of peaking week 1 and falling the straight away. Longer chart runs are coming yay! Anyway, this one should benefit and be top 10 I think. Lucid *.* I'm yet to enter this but I suspect it will have a massive chart run. I adore it, just have to get round to actually charting it Prisoner holding at #5 such a good bop. I'm so happy to see it doing well officially too. Something In Your Eyes still top 10 I don't know if I expected that or a climb! Either way, I'm happy Gold still climbing yaaaaaaay. Golden still climbing I'm almost positive this gets added to my rotative playlist on Monday Fantastic chart! Get Out My Head actually had a total of 4 non-consecutive weeks at the top which was great for Shane Codd, but finally it is dropping. I am glad you adore LUCID and it is now my #1, so I hope to see it feature in your chat too soon! Prisoner still holding onto the #5 position for a third week! Im afraid for Steps, Paloma and Harry they are all experiencing falls this week. Theyve all had good runs. Thank you for your comment! Hi Wardy! Hi Sergej! Nice to see "LUCID" in the top 3 at #4, as well as ""My Head & My Heart" in the top 5 and "No Time For Tears" being the highest climber. I also like seeing "Real Groove" debuting in your chart! Great chart! All three of the songs you mentioned at first have climbed this week, with the former being my new #1! As for Real Groove I quickly lost interest and it has suffered a fall out of the chart this week. Thank you for your comment! Hi Wardy, great to see LUCID contending number one this week! I'm struggling to get into Get Out My Head but reckon one day something will hit and I'll love it. Love also seeing Raye, LM, Steps and SEB in the top 10 (also loving the orange/pink/purple colour palette of most the covers) Hi Rob! Defo a few tracks here that I'll have to check out, great chart! Glad to hear youre also a fan of LUCID too! Ive enjoyed Get Out My Head for a while mow but my interest is slowly starting to wane so thats why its dropped a few places this week. I had not noticed the aesthetics last week, but yes orange and pinks going well together! Some are still there this week too! Thank you for your comment! Great to see 2 entries from Steps in the top 20! Hi SSP! Also nice to see Disclosure/Kelis on there! Steps have been one of my favourites for ages, and had I been keeping a personal chart sooner in 2020 they would have had longer chart runs by now, and both most certainly have been #1 at one point. Glad you also enjoy Disclosure & Kelis, it climbs again this week! Thank you for your comment! Hey Wardy! Hi Mango! Loving the top ten new entry for 'Crying At The Discotheque' - it doesn't sound that different to the original but that's no bad thing! Also great to see the Kylie entries - 'Real Groove' is easily my favourite song on the album (not bothered either way about the Dua addition). Did you chart 'Magic' too at some point? Swap numbers 3 and 4 round and that would be an INCREDIBLE top 3 Becky Hill and Steps are my other top ten highlights Excellent chart! I wonder if Rina will be able to dethrone Shane Codd next week? Youre right about Alfazar and Sophies version of Crying At The Discotheque sounding similar, and maybe thats why it works well, I loved the original back in 2002. Interesting how you prefer Real Groove, my interest quickly faded for it, as was the case for Magic unfortunately, and no I didnt chart it, but only Say Something, which has climbed a lot for me this week, has truly hit the spot for! Well I didnt swap the numbers around, but I did indeed move Ava Max to #3 just as you asked! Oh and as you probably gathered, Rina did indeed dethrone Shane Codd! Thank you for your comment! Hey Wardy! Hi Adam! First time checking out your chart and I'm so happy to see another Pop music lover! What a fantastic number one for you! Get Out My Head is such a bop Also HELL YES to Ava Max in the top 5, I'm a massive Ava fan so this is fantastic to see! I think it's currently my #4 too Happy to see Prisoner, Space, and No Time For Tears in your top ten also. What a great top ten you have! The Business has been growing on me lately Always happy to see 911 in any chart, but I wish Sweet Melody was higher of course Great chart! Thank you for checking out my chart for the first time! Glad you enjoyed my former #1, its been a good listen these last few weeks, and it will continue to do well officially too! Ava Max has climbed again this week to #3! Surely she couldnt get any higher with Regardless and LUCID in front of her? Thank you for all your praise of my love of pop and my Top 10, hopefully this week will also please you! Thank you for your comment! Hi! Hi Frenchie! Nice to see 'Get Out My Head' still in your #1 spot, really enjoying this track. Cool to see 'Hy Head & My Heart', 'Prisoner' and 'Regardless' in your top 5 also. I really need to get round too checking out 'LUCID'. Great chart Very pleased that you too are enjoying Get Out My Head. My Top 5 remains the same songs but reshuffled this week! You simply must check out LUCID sometime! Thank you for your comment! |

Hi Wardy,
First of all I'm going to pretend that I didn't see Sweet Melody dropping out of your chart and scroll back up to the pretty colours! Happy to see Lucid has reached the top! Also loving the climbs for Ava and Nathan Mix, hope to see Kylie join them too - Say Something was in my top 3 songs of last year, it's so good! Will have to check out the KUU track, I really loved How Could I Love Again, and after seeing everyone chart it so high I'm going to have to revisit Regardless and give it another few listens. Great chart! |

Hey Wardy!
I could have sworn I'd commented on this chart already oops. Lucid with the #1 *.* Finally watched the video and omg such colourful goodness. 34+35 is really good although I don't think I'll be charting it. I did have it on my playlist waiting to add to my rotative playlist but I removed it the other week and I doubt I'll be adding it back. Omg nooooo. Paloma missed the top 10 after all that ACH well. It's run on my own chart will make up for it. Ooo Dreamquest sounds quite good *.* Poor brave Golden with that fall Also, what the actual heck at Easy. Why is it flopping here grr. Great chart! |

Hey Wardy!
LUCID is a great number one! I only just heard it a few days ago and I do enjoy it, not sure if it'll enter my chart though, we'll have to see. Ava with the new peak at #3! You love to see it! I wish it was doing more for her officially though Prisoner stalling at #5 I wonder if that will be it's peak. Also YAS at 34+35 finally making it! I much prefer the original to the new remix though. Space still top ten GREAT TOP TEN THIS WEEK! ----- Other tracks I'm loving here; The Business, i miss u, 911 Great chart again! |

Hi awardinary!
I checked out 'LUCID' this week and it really is a great track so is very deserving of your #1! Great to see 34+35 enter also. It's not my favourite off the album but it's still a nice track. Great chart as always! |

Hey Wardy!
Glad you took my advice and moved Ava up to #3. Now if she could just climb to #2 next week that would be great Shame Shane Codd's no longer number one but obviously I'm more than happy for Rina to be occupying the top spot with her bop I'm not a big fan of 34+35, I much prefer Ari when she does commercial pop so I'm not really feeling this latest era of hers very much. Good to see 'Say Something' doing well, even if it's a few months late top ten next week? |

Hey there Wardy
Wow, great to see Ariana nabbing that highest new entry spot have you heard the remix yet? I also really like 'Dreamquest' and 'Open Your Eyes' from the new entries - some great dance music around at the moment Fab chart |

great to see Lucid make it to #1 here, as you've seen that's now made my top 40.
I'm not sold on 34+35 sadly, your other top 10 arrival in Save Your Tears may well make the lower reaches of my chart soon however. the Imanbek song has potential too, will have to give it another listen. |
