I only know their track Cough Cough which was a personal number 1 a few weeks after it was released and Radio 1 was playing it a lot.
Hoping this new track is as eclectic and vibrant as that one. |

I saw them last month when they played a couple of really small shows, they opened with A Fever Dream and I thought it was incredible, couldn't want to hear it again. The studio version really doesn't disappoint - think this will end up being easily my favourite song of theirs.

Really quite disappointed in this which I was not expecting at all after how much I enjoyed their last album as well as 'Can't Do'. It took a while to get into 'Desire' but I'm enjoying it at the moment but those are like the only two stand out tracks on the album !! It all feels a bit dreary and long which is not the sort of thing I was looking for in an Everything Everything album, it's nowhere near as fun, exciting, upbeat or enjoyable as Get to Heaven so I'm a bit gutted to be honest. Hoping it'll grow but not going to lie, I think I'll just keep the two singles and go back to their last album when I need my fix.

More acknowledgement of how awesome that title track is <3 gorgeous
The album isn't quite on the level of Get To Heaven (i always prefer the vibrant instrumentation and quirkier edge to their music) but I still like the darker and moodier turn and if you stick with this for a few listens it's consistently good! The two singles + Night Of The Long Knives + Ivory Tower are instant highlights, Big Game is quite amusing with the juvenile/blunt lyrics. Put Me Together is one of the better slower cuts though from a lyrical standpoint <3 |
