Keep On Dancin' has been announced as the third single from her 3rd studio album, Delirium.
Keep On Dancin' is to be released around May with a new version of the track. How do you think it will do!? |

Will be interesting to see how different the single version will be. Didn't they say that Flashlight was going to be altered for the single version but it ended up being more or less identical?
Keep On Dancin' is a great track from a very weak album. I prefer Don't Need Nobody though. Also - this is the fourth single, not third! Love Me Like You Do, On My Mind, Army and now Keep On Dancin' |

Love Me Like You Do, On My Mind, Army and now Keep On Dancin' I think Flashlight was just slightly faster to be honest... Love Me Like You Do wasn't a single from the album, it was for FSOG. |

I'm not sure how this will do. I feel like the public haven't warmed to this album at all and the only reason "Army" was a minor hit was because of the ITV drama advert and it was 59p for a bit. "Something In The Way You Move" should have been given a push, but I don't even know how that would have done.
That said, I do think this is one of my favourites on the album and I would like to see it go top 40. I get a Lana Del Rey vibe from the mood and sound of the song, which is ok because it's not Lana Del Rey (who I find interesting musically, but dull vocally). |

Why not Something In The Way You Move - isn't that the next single overseas?

Its a mediocre choice - probably will struggle to be honest. Something in the way you move seems the obvious choice as next single.

Something In The Way You Move should have been the lead single off the album instead of On My Mind, it's the best track by miles... I think SITWYM is not the single cos it was chosen as single 2 in the US and didn't do well, but thats why it had a live video instead of a proper one
I actually think it's a good album and at least there's 4 songs that are a 10/10 for me: Love Me Like You Do, Something in the Way You More, Lost & Found and Army. For me, those should have been the four singles... for me, Keep on Dancin is nice but just an album track, not as single |

This is my favourite song off of the album so I'm thrilled.
Already my third favourite single from her after 'Figure 8' and 'Lights' #unpopularopinion |

The delirium era seems to have falling very flat. I am fully expecting a re-release like with her previous albums and hopefully the material that will come from that will connect more with music buyers and streamers.

I shall treat this both as a chart prediction thread and general song discussion thread~
Chart prediction: this is Ellie Goulding so it'll likely be a hit to some degree (as all her songs post-Figure 8 pretty much have been), maybe depends on how much different this 'new version' is, i'm guessing they'll bring in a big name to remix/feature on it This song is soooo bad though, that grating whistle 'hook' :/ if the aim of this was supposed to make 'On My Mind' actually sound good they may have just achieved that |

Well we might as well have a single thread as Ellie is an act big enough for one
I like this, but I agree about the whistle chorus. Apart from Kill 'Em With Kindness by Selena Gomez which is one example I enjoy, I usually find them jarring. There are definitely better choices, I have no idea why they don't push Something In The Way You Move over here!! |
