Quickly catching up ~ That top 2 is looking pretty much perfect so far, hopefully we will end up having the correct top 2 at the end like in the first contest Fantastic entry from Dan (wouldn't have guessed it was yours, I remember thinking this about your last entry too!), I loved Michael's entry as well, and Lewis' and Travis' are both rly good and should be doing way better also x (never would have guessed Hinoi Team was Travis etc.)

edit: and a great Dobbo entry as well Dance mods are killing it in these contests, both of their entries have been among my favourites both times. x

Lmao at me being last for a while earlier, I'm really struggling in this contest!!1 At least I'm a little bit higher now Thanks to those who voted for DJ Omnimaga so far, particularly Mattias and Chez for the 8s x To be fair I didn't really look very hard and basically just took the first half decent thing I found when searching for the tag 'eurodance' on Bandcamp, so not surprised at it flopping again But it sounded good enough to me anyway. Yes, no one is surprised I sent the only Asian entry I originally was going to go with something else, but Snakey and I got to talking about the parapara dance craze in Japan that was this same era of music, and the conversation ended up in my going through a bunch of songs I enjoyed from then and sending one.

Only just finished work so sped-read all seven pages!!

The moment I saw the theme I knew I had to send K2, finding it on Youtube was a brilliant "What the hell" moment - did get a bit excited when I was briefly second but really happy to get top 5, thought opinion would be split much more!!

Overjoyed to see Jasmin win. Fun fact, it was released in 1996 but only achieved its German singles chart peak in 2010 after a RATM-style chart campaign against a reality TV winner! Loved it ever since I discovered it on Youtube while binge-watching happy hardcore hits about a decade ago.

Credit to Maxx, Melodie MC and Da Buzz too which were all in my votes and deserved to rate higher! Looking forward to the next one!

Well done Dobbo on defending your title. I didn't enter as I don't like Eurodance. Having just listened to the winner,I think I made the right decision if that's the best song.

Congrats to Dobbo again, another real highlight and great example of how uniquely wonderful the genre can be (and fitting that an actual European song won, especially Germany as that is quite prominent for the genre!). K2 (thank you Billy for bringing that into my life *__) and Tune Up (would never have that down as Michael!) that high up are fantastic to see as well.

Awww at just missing the top 10 on a tiebreak, but at least it didn't completely blend in like I feared! I thought it sounded like a good rip off of Mr Vain which was good enough for me, thanks to Jupiter and Mattias for the high points in particular <3

Thanks for hosting, these have proved two wonderful editions and I look forward to the next one!

All caught up now. I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret - the song that won was the one I ended up ranking last in my list I don't hate it and I probably liked it more on plug for some reason, and wooted it I think, but yea, listening again a few times after that, don't rly like it haha. Sorry Dobbo! I think there's something about the melody and the sound that doesn't quite connect with me. I don't particularly mind what song wins at the end of the day though and well done on a second win!!!
