Radio 1 were really preventing us all from a right tune. Many people may refer to him as 'The Whineknd' or whatever but I adore his voice, especially when coupled with such a swag song. 'Can't Feel My Face' is also marvellous, although I see you've charted that a bit lower down anyway, yay! 'Holding On' debuting top 3! Obsessed with that one, reflected by its recent addition to the very small club of my 2k15 number ones. Glad to see you're getting behind it tho, now if only it could smash officially too! Same goes for 'Bang That'. Queen of music and queen of Disney impacting your top 10 as well oh my gawsh ~~shame it's not QueenOfVa...~~ hehe the former is such a summer smash and the latter so sultry and smooth. A shame that the video version is quite a bit different. Not quite feeling Cool for the Summer yet? altho I can understand one being put off listening with Ryan's spamming x Everything Everything impacting! <3 the album listen with you and Seven was so much fun, we must do the other ones at some point. How very us that the exact same trio of songs have charted all were fab though, particularly 'Hapsburg Lippp' which was so chaotic in the best kind of way. 'Distant Past' is still my fave of course, though <3 A shame the album missed out on top 5! Rod Stewart AND John Newman both debuting omgawd. . 'Coffee' debuting down low for youuu <3 such a lush song, Miguel is definitely one of my favourite vocalists around at the moment, smoothness overload. Pretty similar but not exactly). BJSC aside the last two #1s have been a second week for The Weeknd then a climb to the top for David Zowie to provide the first simultaneous #1 here and in the UK of the year (indeed it's the first UK #1 of the year to also get to #1 here at all let alone at the same time). Kind of a default #1 to be honest as I didn't really feel like I was loving any song enough in the past week to be a personal #1 but something had to be there. Two songs entering the top 10 that are unrelated to BJSC, Fifth Harmony and Kid Ink finally rise to #9 after 6 weeks flitting between 11 and 16 and The Chemical Brothers - sort of related to BJSC as they're our entrant to the current Dance Anthems spinoff but with a different, much older song - climb up to #10. Suiyoubi No Campanella nearly enter the top 10 as well, climbing back up to a new peak of #11. Krept & Konan and Jeremih climb to a new peak of #19. Birdy claims the highest 'new' entry of the week (I don't remember if I charted 'Wings' first time around but it's certainly new to this incarnation of my chart anyway) at #18 thanks to banking adverts. Yay! One other non-BJSC new entry at #34 for Kiiara's 'Gold' although I wouldn't be surprised if that turns up in the next contest thanks to various blog hype. On the previous chart there was a new entry at #29 for Rudimental, Anne-Marie and Will Heard's 'Rumour Mill', not quite matching the top 10 peak of previous single 'Never Let You Go' ~

The former packs such a punch and the latter is such a jam. . 'ouse ftw. Hooray at M+A getting two stable weeks. Not the best performance in the contest but it's great to know it has its fans, including yourself. <3 LOADS of amazing other BJSC songs in here of course, particularly: 'Miracles', 'Dope a La Mode', 'Saint Claude', 'Cause I'm a Man', 'In This Together', 'Sabotage', 'Don't Wait Up', 'Girl' and 'House of Cards'. It's surprisingly only Calvin's 3rd #1 on my chart after the aforementioned 'Sweet Nothing' and 'We'll Be Coming Back'. I'm not counting but I think it's possible Calvin has the most top 10 hits of any artist in my chart though. It's obviously a first #1 for Disciples, though they reached #5 with their previous track 'They Don't Know'. That aside not that much going on this week. The Chemical Brothers continue their gradual ascent up to #2 with 'Go' on the week of their album release, Tinashe has technically the highest new entry at #3 with 'All Hands On Deck' following a random REDISCOVERY (though it's really a re-entry at a new peak as it reached #8 during the Bré Forté era) and last week's top 2 both slip three places. Lots of old songs reclimbing including a top 10 re-entry for Tinie Tempah and Jess Glynne's 'Not Letting Go'. The highest genuine new entry is Shaggy's 'I Need Your Love' (feat. Mohombi, Faydee and Costi) debuting at #26 ahead of the opening of the Jamaican superstar's official artist forum and there are also new entries for The Black Eyed Peas' surprisingly hype void 'Yesterday' at #28 plus late debuts for Flo Rida, Robin Thicke and Verdine White's 'I Don't Like It, I Love It' at #34 and Kygo and Parson James' 'Stole The Show' at #37. I was struggling for new entries okay. Slow week.
