Well that artist who writes all her own material but is still really quite $h!t is releasing this single here in March with the album out a week after, all through Mercury.
Heh @ even attempting to release country music here. WILL IT WORK? |

Great choice for her lead single. I think Teardrops On My Guitar wouldnt do much in Europe, but who knows, it could be another How Do I Live or You're Still The One. Perhaps the pop remix would work for that like it did with US pop radio.

Music Video's on iTunes USUALLY give a good impression as to how they'll do when released, Taylor Swift is currently at Number 5 and I would say at the moment, it will probably Go Top 20 perhaps Top 15, which is surprising, as she's really not what the UK public would really buy!

I think she will be big here...
they are not country as such but Rockstar and All Summer Long had country elements to them and were both huge hits |

I think she's more pop than country anyway.

All I can say is MORE FOOL CARRIE! The singles from her debut could've done great things here. *Mourns* Taylor sucks.

Great song. It's country, but it has the crossover appeal. It's done wonders in the US on POP radio. It's got a great hook with a phenomenal build-up to the final chorus. I don't think much of her album, but this is her best best for a hit over here. I'm pleased she's trying to crack our market, but I doubt she'll mirror the success she's hate stateside.

Oh god I've succumbed! Damn her! Her voice is not good at all but for some reason this song is just... it gets under your skin. The melody is lovely. She could be great with a better voice...

This was played on Switch on Radio 1. The dj's didnt like it, and it got mixed reactions on text. At least it wasnt drilled like "Outta My Head" was last year.
