Would love Mariah to get there but Positions is just everywhere at the moment and catchy beyond belief! Should be no1 for a while yet.

There'd be a certain symmetry in that 'thank u next' had 6 weeks at #1 and in its 6th week Mariah would have been #1 if not on ACR (#5 officially that week). For what it's worth, I think 'positions' is a better song than 'thank u next'.

In fairness they were talking generally about the early Christmas feeling this year and used that as one example of Christmas a month earlier than usual. Might increase the sales at the last minute lol

But 7 weeks would bag her the most consecutive weeks at #1 in 2020 (6 weeks would tie her with 'Head & Heart') so I'd also be more than happy for her to hang on a bit longer just typing out the possibility of 7 weeks seems preposterous - this has outdone my expectations and then some!!
