So in an unexpected turn of events (maybe since the plans for more Spice Girls project have now been cancelled lol), it turns out that Mel B has mentioned in a radio interview this morning that she was in the studio recently working on her own music.

I'd love to see a second Missy Elliot duet. A dream scenario would be Lizzo too. But I guess that's incredibly unlikely. Unless she happens to be a massive Spice fan

I could totally see her going for a pop/r'n'b sound but with some UK rappers attached to the songs. She mentioned Stormzy recently, and that would be great of course.

Mel B has quit her role as team captain on Celebrity Juice, with a source citing a "hectic work schedule" as the reason!

Well she hasn't got any other on going jobs so unless she has got something else up her sleeve it looks like Mel is looking to be very dedicated to a certain project next year.

Tbh Celebrity Juice is kinda dead, it's just not as funny as it used to be and I don't think the ratings are great these days. It's not a catastrophic loss for her.

FYI Celeb juice is Oct-March contract and Mel B wont be in the UK in February/march she will be as far away as you can get from the UK with the kangaroos if the next couple of months go to plan.

Shame as it was a steady gig for her but tbh I don't think she was that great on it anyway, she was the most unlikable judge they've ever had really, her constant eye rolling and acting annoyed just didn't really suit the show. Although I have to say those home filmed episodes she really shone on and was fantastic on those ones.
