All Saints are totally underrated. Their Studio 1 album is fantastic!

This doesn't sound like it would be a sensible single choice so not surprised it was left unreleased. It's fine but is better off being just a album track!

This would have flopped as a single! Not a good album

With 'Pure Shores' & 'Black Coffee' on it??? Tbf I said I'd listen to that album and still plan to before end of year haha. Unbelievably, even with those two songs on it the album itself is a pile of shite. Those are almost outliers in quality compared to the rest. |

Have been listening to a lot of early 00s albums recently that I didn't buy at the time and in almost every case it struck me how so many - especially pop albums - were just three singles and filler.
There was such an overabundance of money being thrown at pop acts until the bubblegum bubble burst in about 2002/3 but the quality control really wasn't there. So many albums were thrown together to make money for the label off the back of a couple of decent singles. But it's no wonder so many acts were one or two album wonders - why would you reinvest in an act whose previous album was poor? This isn't directed at All Saints although I confess I've never managed to get all the way through Saints and Sinners - I loved Studio 1 though, and Red Flag.
